• Install ProTools:
• Enable access for assistive devices:
System Preferences > Accessibility pane > tick "Enable access for assistive devices
• Unpack PT10[K]
Put PT10Loader and PT 10.3.9 Patch on your desktop.
• Patch ProTools.app
Open PT 10.3.9 Patch and drag Pro Tools.app on its window
• Start ProTools launching PT10Loader.app
Just double-click on it.

NOTE Digidesign says: Note: Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) is NOT supported by Pro Tools 10.3.x

So check it with 10.7/10.8 as some issues or malfunctions on mavericks should be due by pro tools 10.3.x itself and not by the patch.

Officially it is not, but it is indeed working with 10.9.3 – I've tried it and it worked. But as far as this patching method is concerned, I would not recommend using this release for other purposes than testing.

I JUST CANNOT GET THIS WORKING!!
Im on mountain Lion. If I try to open the loader on its own it gives me an error. So if I show package contents and open bitslicer, THEN open the loader the loader runs but when it gets to opening a project protools just crashes! Any ideas? Tried reinstalling.

Great work... I have it Running on OSX 10.8.3 everything seems fine, instructions are great. Only issue I see as a problem at least for me is that once you create a project and choose to add "delay compensation" the project has to restart to initiate the feature. This seems to bypass the PT10loader and looks for the ilok due to the restart of the project! BUMMER! :-)

As suggested posts above, I used Permissions Repair to to fix permissions of the loader and patcher, and it didn't work. I applied it to the very Pro Tools app, as then it started working. I'm on 10.8.5. There's no fix for the random iLok check, but it's a big step up. I hope more can be done. Anyway, now I can use this release to bring the audio of my old projects to Logic X. Time to delete my good old 10.6.8 partition for good. Big thanks for sharing.

george.lee - you need to download the installation file from Avid but do not use the download manager - there is a link on the same page that says click here to download direct. Use that one instead.

sorry but don't work for me, i have osx 10.7.5. i install pro tools, ability access for assistive devices, lauch the patch ok, i launch the loader and don't work which demostration video. help me !!! thanks

For people with problems with the loader or patch, use an app like" Permissions Reset" to fix permissions. I did it on the loader, patch, and the Pro Tools app itself before it worked for me.

BTW, Permissions Reset is a great free app for times when programs start to mess up.

When you repair permissions for the disk, you don't alter an apps' behavior but just optimize the system for flawless operation. Permissions Reset, on the other hand resets an app for successful install or function. Also, it's a drag-and-drop kind of program. It's simple to use. No harm. You'll find it floating around the web. Thanks, all is ok... but now, it say "Authorisation error - Pro Tools 10 cannot run because it is corrupted. Please try reinstalling the product."
and it close.

i relaunch, and it say "Authorisation required - Please insert an authorized iLok and press the "OK" button to continue using Pro Tools 10. Press "Cancel" to stop using this product." and it close

Working fine on 10.8.3 Only issue is when trying to install Plugin Alliance 2014 bundle...anyone having a similar problem?
