• Install ProTools:
• Enable access for assistive devices:
System Preferences > Accessibility pane > tick "Enable access for assistive devices
• Unpack PT10[K]
Put PT10Loader and PT 10.3.9 Patch on your desktop.
• Patch ProTools.app
Open PT 10.3.9 Patch and drag Pro Tools.app on its window
• Start ProTools launching PT10Loader.app
Just double-click on it.

CLick right on the App, and show the content, then go to "contents" > "MacOS" and check if the Application Stub is executable. If its like that, go back to the Bit Slicer App, click right and "show content" then "contents" > "MacOS" and check if the Bit Slicer Binary is executable, if not, change it with BatChmod.

what bit slicer app? I'm having the same issues - both PT 10.3.9 Patch and PT10Loader are not staying in Accessibility Screen. using Mavericks OSX

What you need to do is to Enable access for assistive devices. For maveriks thats on security and privacy> accessivility. Drag the PT10 Loader and the Patcher to where it says allow apps to control your computer. I got it working before the fix.

pt10 loader dosnt seem to stay in the added section, bounces out. but the patch stays.

You need to have those 2 checked on the accessivility window b4 u begin to patch it etc on maveriks or it wont work. I reinstalled protools after i had BOTH the Patcher and LOADER in the Accessibility Pane. After that follow the instructions carefully n it should work. THats how it worked for me.

i tried that, the Loader is in the list, but the Patch wont stay there, after another installation and try to patch it, same problem, geht the "The action “Run AppleScript (Select Search Mode)” encountered an error." Message

I got past the previous error, now when i'm supposed to wait for the session to open it justs shows a popup asking for the ilok... i'll keep tinkering...

Idea is good. Realization is very bad. Scripts does not work correctly. My mac has 2gb memory. I see message "...little memory for PT..." and... the end.

i have no idea why you are even trying to run Pro Tools, or any DAW for that matter with 2GB of RAM. I run with 32GB of RAM and would never dream of using less than 16 :/

Also on a machine like that you would get further using standard Pro Tools anyway, not even HD. So I am astounded at how you are even thinking of entertaining the thought of this...

OK I GOT TI WORKING ON MAVERICKS THIS IS HOW....
1.Download ProTools
2.Put Both PT10Loader AND PT 10.3.9 PATCH in your Desktop Install ProTools
3.Enable access for assistive devices for PT10Loader AND PT 10.3.9 PATCH!!!
on Maveriks its under System Preferences> Security & Privacy> Accessibility. DRAG PT10Loader AND PT 10.3.9 PATCH into "allow the apps below to control your computer" Window ( Note: The first time around i was not able to see PT10Loader AND PT 10.3.9 PATCH in the "allow the apps below to control your computer" window so the PT10Loader always failed.)
4.ONLY PT10Loader AND PT 10.3.9 PATCH are allowed to control your comp Proceed to Patch your Protools.app
5. Start PT10Loader.app be patient allow for it to do its thing and Enjoy.
*Note i had trouble getting PT10Loader.app And Patcher on my "allow the apps below to control your computer" for some reason they wouldnt drag, until i had them in the desktop and they failed to work and then i dragged them n they suddenly appeared
after that i reinstalled protools patched it again and it finally worked.

I'm usually really good with this stuff but I cant seem to get the Loader to stay in the "allow the apps to control..." dialog. Im not even sure how I got the patch to stay there. Any ideas?

Well glad u got that far, I had the same problem, i fiddled around n found the answer. Put both loader and patcher in your desktop, run loader, after a few tries for me it EVENTUALLY gave me a notification that the loader needed access to the computer, i said yes n it still failed, BUT!!! i was now able to drag it into the window. SO i had both on the window now but it still didnt work, i figured that i probably had to patch it while the PATCHER had permission. So i reinstalled Protools from the OG DMG, and patched it again this time with the permission. N i launched loader n it worked. Hope that helps, but i c that ur almost there.

Finally got everything to work on the newest version of mavericks

started to mix an old song and 10 min into it I get the "MISSING ILOK" notification and it closes out.

Loader doesn't run at all under Snow Leopard. Followed the instructions to the letter as per the video. Downloaded without Download Manager. Just for the hell of it, tried opening up the (patched) PT10 without it just to see what would happen- quits out after "creating DAE objects".

The instructions for Mavericks don't apply here as there's no "allow apps to control your computer", unless it's hidden somewhere else in the system preferences.

This is a stable Hackintosh being used as a workstation running Logic and I'm not about to tamper with the OS. Some compatibility with a 64-bit version of PT would be nice though.

On a different note, is this mean to have the i would assume are stock plug ins like boom, vacuuum, xpand2, they arent not leading on the hip hop template

Doesn't work for me on maverick, when I tried to open/create a session (at the end of the script), I've got : Authorization Error : Pro Tools 10 cannot run because it is corrupted. Please try reinstalling the product.

When i do it like you showed, while the script is running, a window appear "The expression in the beginning address field is not valid." and the script stops, after i clicked OK it continues, but after a second i get another message "The action “Watch Me Do (Click the fucking thing again)” encountered an error. Check the actionʼs properties and try running the workflow again." and the script stops forever!
