It's not a loading problem, it's a problem with registering them to the system via AU Reg Utitlity. And that didn't work for 12.7 on waves' end last time.

Follow instructions and it should work. You have to kill WavesLocalServer . But its probably best to stick to the older working versions. Seems to be a problem from Waves.

I did follow the instructions, i also read waves forums. I have lost seriously two days trying to make your previous release work. My point was that as uploader you should mention that you are aware of problems and suggestions of making it work. I dont think its fair from my side trying your crack, so to spend another two days on it. You offer something to us and i am thankful but i should be informed of things also. Thats the only reason i downvoted.

Well since 90% of mac users use AU, I'd say it's not working for the overwhelming majority of mac users. That said, it doesn't appear to be the patch fault, but something in Waves, since even before the patch, it fails during the au scan utility. I suppose it could be something the new installer finds k'ed on the system from a prior patching and then fails accordingly.

Has anyone totally clean installed the mac version and then tried AU scan before patching?

AU issue is NOT patch issue, it is squarely on Waves. If you take the time to research for just a minute on their forums instead of clicking silly emojis you would see this fact. Folks these days seem quite hasty to judge w/out merit. When one judges then one must be prepared to be judged themselves. Regards and be well.

Hi brothers ....

Just to be clear: FOR THE MOMENT THERE'S NO POSSIBILITY THAT THE NEW VERSION (12.7) OF THE WAVES WILL WORK IN AU FORMAT!

So I urge you all to check for any news on compatibility with the AU format on official channels!

For now the only thing we can do is go back to Waves Complete v12 24.02.21 WiN MAC version on this site !!

I uninstalled and deleted all waves on my computer
Then downloaded Waves V12 from the Waves site (https://www.waves.com/downloads/v12)
I installed these and first opened in Logic to scan/reg them.
Then closed LPX and used the patch from here.. everything is working!!

But did you install them Online or did you create an installer and then install them Offline?


EDIT: I've seen it all .... Offline of course via Waves Central!

EDIT-2: IT DOESN'T WORK .... I was convinced it was an installer of version 12.7 but instead it was the first release of waves 12! Probably 'manta' used this system to make a roll back from version 12.7 to not download the last working file advertised by Audioz!
The AU format still doesn't work and I'm convinced that Waves has added extra protection to the 'WavesLocalServer.bundle' file. Now I trust that the VR team can try to study the problem and maybe solve it with some brilliant solution! We need an updated patch, an updated keygen from R2R and a crack for the 'WavesLocalServer.bundle'!

Obviously this is my opinion... In conclusion, don't use this system unless you want to go back to the initial version of Waves 12.0 without downloading any files via Audioz. If you don't have the patch, then you have no choice!
