Ampire is a guitar rig simulator that leverages State Space Modeling for uncannily realistic re-creations of classic (expensive and heavy) guitar amplifiers, cabinets, and pedals. State Space Modeling is the surgical measuring and digital re-creation of analog hardware on a per-component level. Each capacitor, every resistor, all the diodes, and every circuitry element of the complete hardware schematics have their behavior measured, modeled, and re-created… including even component-specific non-linearities.

Presonus - Why are my old Ampire XT presets not available after updating to Studio One 4.6?
to install AmpireXT Metal into Studio One 4.6, but it still say that it is "not compatible". This is at least for the R2R version we have in audioz.
Was somebody able to do it?

I think we need to place it right way in some specific folder. Let's try to figure out what folder is...The same folder that S1 uses when we downloadin it the presonus website. That's clue...Let me try here!

Yeah. But sometimes we need to wait for the download to be able to read something. While I was waiting it I just gave the clue to @pereira.

It says is not compatible but it open up when you try! I got now 17 amps + 17 cabs and many pedals. So it seems to be working.
Place the Ampire XT Classics here:

C:\Users\YOUR NAME\AppData\Roaming\PreSonus\Studio One 4\Extensions
There is that info file attached.

Then drag and drop the Metal XT pack over Presonus e restart S1. It will say it is not compatible as I said, but it will open. The same thing happens to the Fat Channel. But It is even worse cause I can't install the Fat Channel at all.

R2R need to fix that for us!!!

With the paid version, you must download the old version of Ampire XT separate along with a couple other older versions of programs. New ones come with the software.

I am running Win10 as well. It is working here, no issues. I just close the session I was trying right now to give you that response. It is working. It says it is not compatible, but it is openning. Just the Fat Channel won't install.
Another try would be to use a release from another team that does not block the presonus servers like R2R does. I am not sure if the VR version block them too.
if not you can download the Classic XT from S1 itself and then try to expand it with the Ampire Metal.
Maybe you wanna give a shot.
Anyway, if anything else works, you still can use THU for ampsim if you wish...I really do prefer it over all others around. If you pick some original Celestion IR's for it, man, it sounds amazing. I got really good tones with THU + celestion IR'.

There is a Celestion IR pack here at AZ too...

After that replay I just re-open the S1 and the Ampire still is there as I save it. It is running here...

Yes. Now Presonus is renamed it to Ampire. To run it with new S1 versions you still need to use the legacy Classic XT to expand it. Ampire alone has just 5 amps. It is enough, I know. But if you wish more amps, you need the Classic XT installed.

It would be great have it running. But we have lots of comp/EQ options out there too. Let's wait and see if we can get all the original add ons working.

Yes. Seems they chanced something for the new Fat Channel add on so the earlier versions don't work anymore. I assume that is the point....who knows?

Ampire is working here, at last!

I have to say, I've been fairly impressed with how...I guess, "alive" these setups sound. As a guitar player who's been around the block a few times and is the first to be wary of any new guitar-oriented simulations, I have to give it to PreSonus; Ampire is easily a solid contender vs. TH-U and Positive Grid.
