Soulful Trap is the result of many late night sessions in the studio, recording various vintage kits such as drums, pianos, organs, electronic keys, synths, foley, and found sound. We pulled all the stops using Fender guitars, Neve and API preamps, DIY cabinets, amps, and a choice selection of microphones. All in the name of creating emotive and inspiring melodics that lean toward recreating the current sound of future R&B, neo-soul, and beyond.
