first this isnt any topic for me cause i am using the jdownloader and i am very happy with it..
i can download everything with it, even movies from live stream sites..

there are probably many tools like this so i dont make a story on this j thing..

secondly i am not paying for any web or file hosting; why paying for something you can get for free?

this is allways the first thought when comparing some open source with comercial products or services...but i am a fan of this for free and open source thougt because its legal, safe and transparent...i dont want any filehoster to know my real identitiy..specially when looking at the way companies like rs are makin their money..they are paying ppl to upload this stuff that ends with a Z....I hope you know wot i mean ;)

Everyone who is paying for this is an idiot in my eyes, because it could be only a matter of time if someone is running on the door to pick em up..

Instead I really think people who are debating some bullshit instead of discussing seriously are the main problem, but this is another topic...now I do have some concerns here:

1 -- why not giving access to links and passwords only after loggin in here, so google wont find this stuff too, which could be an investment into the future..

2 --Protect all files with passwords

3 --as mentioned several times before: dont unpack and repack, because for you the uploader its some work and for me its a lil security problem, when open files that are repacked..

A release that is an untouched original release which comes directly from the groups ( you surely know how this is going on) tends to be clean, safe and free from malware or virii.

So, I hope you understand that i prefer stuff that is packed original and free from any malware..if you dont understand yet, please dont be mad at me, I cant explain this much better..

The people that you call idiots (the ones buying premium accounts) are actually the ones who enable you to use the more or less safe approach of downloading stuff via one click hosters. If nobody would buy premium accounts, there wouldn't be any hosters to leech from for free.

If you hate the idea of people paying for premium accounts so much, why not join the torrent scene instead? Ah right, it's much more dangerous and on top of that, you have to give stuff back by uploading to a certain quota!

first, the alternative to this www scene is irc not torrent, so who is the one who is talking shit, eh?

now back to some arguments:

1) as I said, rapidshare is paying idiots to upload stuff, so this isnt crazy and illegal..its insane...if you cant follow this thought you should know that basing a biz on criminal actions isnt so good and i guess it is not very long lasting either...

2) its funny, people telling me that i am stupid and then telling me that premium rapidshare account is anonymous....this is the end of this discussion here for me....
as far as i know you cant do paypal without giving your identity...
3) some people here acting so agressive that i think those people are really really braindead or these are some the these rapidshare uploaders who get paid for upoading..

i dont know why a lil more security is a bad thing...but ok, you say that this was allready done in the past and for some reasons it didnt worked out...i just remember bubbazenetti, but this is a long time ago...

so, go and pay rapidshare, and look as stupid as you can when some policemen will be standing infront of your door...cheers ;)

RE: 1) Actually, rapidshare stopped paying out a few days ago (guess why Hanoi Joe erm... Shareislove doesn't upload to RS anymore...) - all there's to it are free premium accounts for uploaders.

RE: 2) You can actually buy rapidshare accounts completey anonymous. At least from inside Europe via Paysafecard. Just buy one of those anonymously in a shop and use the code to buy the rapidshare account.

RE: 3) If you lock out google from the site, you won't easily find new people for the community. If you think passwords will spare your files from deletion, forget it. What actually helps keeping files up is not to post them on other sites - a measure that you already failed to adhere to twice...

i fucking hate posts about file hosters.

they are always written by narrow minded cheap skates. to cheap to buy a sub. cant see all the crap/virus/popup and slow on shitty hosts. probably the same people who use shit free virus checkers and post virus warnings about every keygen. and too tight to share on torrents, cant pay a few dollars for $100000 of free shit from rapidshare.

I try the rapid links on stuff I want from here, but if it does the usual 'no free slots' I'll try a couple of times and move on.
There are plenty of other warez app sites that host on other file sharers.

i haven't paid for my rs premium in more than two years, and that was for one month. the reason? i've uploaded shitloads of stuff that i used to get via torrents and emule back when my isp didn't throttle the uploads. even now, the stuff i uploaded to magesy and the other site, including this one, around the same time still get accessed. the recent rs bs policy about file activity combined with gb limits has done in a couple of my uploads, but most of the shit still going.

i currently upload ps2 games to give back to the community that gave me access to dl ones i didn't have, and those ones i dl'd were from megaupload, a host i don't really like but it doesn't stop me from putting up with their non-premium download rules (or the shitty 75 min megavideo screening time limit). if i don't like the host then i ignore the post, i despise depositfiles and a few others so i don't bother when i see them. simple. see, even if i was nothing but a leech and i was uploading strictly for my own benefit, i would still be inadvertently helping the pirate community.


and as long as the person doesn't send me all over the place via linkbucks or the troublesome german one that starts with an 's' that doesn't allow you to do a batch dl regardless of which site the files are hosted at, i don't have a problem.
