P821 MDN Tape is based on Marc Daniel Nelson’s personal Stephens 821 2” tape machine

Which was utilized at the Producer’s Workshop, renowned for producing iconic albums such as The Wall, Aja, Rumours, and others. The P821 signature sound is very open and has a large sonic character, as there is very little electronics and zero transformers in the tape machine, making the sound stage massive and no aggressive compression or clamping down. This is the first plugin of its type where you’re actually hearing TAPE and how it reacts. Now, hearing the P821 MDN Tape plugin recreates that same experience. Your Sound in Three Dimensions

HALO 3D Pan is a binaural panning plugin. It uses pre-recorded binaural impulse responses to simulate the sound of a sound source moving around the listener’s head. HALO 3D Pan has four main controls: azimuth, elevation, width, and focus. Azimuth controls the angle of the sound source around the listener’s head. Elevation controls the angle of the sound source above the listener’s head. Width controls amount of separation, in the azimuthal plane, between the stereo inputs of the sound sources. Focus fades between spatialized panning and traditional stereo panning.

Expanse is a noise and drone generator that can be spectrally blurred, pitched, and filtered.

It is a simple yet versatile tool that can produce sweeping backdrops, resonating low drones and many other textural canvases. Into a Bright Land weaves a tapestry of field recordings spanning many of California's natural areas. The album came together over a period of several months, informed by a collection of sounds that were inspired from acoustic ecology studies; captured on the shores of Point Reyes to mountains in Big Sur and ancient forests of Yosemite. It was later assembled in the studio and augmented with algorithmic programming in Csound.
