This Nebula library is based on a highly regarded modern recreation of the classic 660 compressor. It can sound ‘creamy’, yet still clear and detailed, and that aspect of the sound has been translated to these programs. It has been called the best compressor around for vocals by many, as well as for slamming drums, and among other uses it can even give sounds a nice sheen without engaging the compression, or using very little. Definitely a ‘character piece’. You can also use the pass-through programs which don’t provide any compression but do provide some nice saturation/harmonics.

The three-position timing switch not only controls the attack and release times of the unit, but also the slew rate of the transformers and the timing of the other parts of the circuitry, that are directly influencing the generated harmonics (saturation).

Alonso Sound has announced the release of Revealed Producer Starter Pack Vol. 1, a free sample library for all those who want to recreate the signature Revealed Recordings sound.

The pack brings 385 samples including kicks, synth shots, fills, SFX, percussion, drop stabs or vocals, you will find it here. To speed up the workflow, all samples are labelled with the key info (where applicable).

Revealed Producer Starter Pack Vol. 1 also includes 64 presets for Spire and Sylenth1 (divided equally). All mod wheels are programmed within each preset, as well as all of the Spire presets have all four macro controls assigned for easy tweaking and multiple sound variations.
