Few questions before I download and install (and potentially mess things up) :

1. Do I need to connect to the Internet for this to work? (The firewall blocks my S1, both incoming and outgoing)
2. Do I need to connect a Splice account for this to work? (The Presonus webpage says 2500+ royalty-free samples included)
3. Once I download and import a sample into a session, will it remain if Splice is disconnected?
OK. Hmm. Zzz

They offer you a product completely free and you are not able to check it yourself...???...it is clear that AI will have no problem replacing us, how lazy people are.

Relax. There is no nfo with any info that explains the process and possibilities etc.

Or did you find one? Then send it over to me.

Internet connection for downloading seems obvious.

Can one download any samples from their site for free with this into S1 and keep it there as .wav in the project?

If all audio will be streamed via internet that would be pointless.
If I need to be connected to slice when working on a project that uses stuff downloaded from them it'd be also pointless to me.

I have no experience with S1 nor with Splice and how their system works, except the normal way to make an account and pay for the sample you chose to download via a point system that translates to currency.

If someone could explain the process and possibilities of this release that would be great!

I am sure R2R wouldn't release it if it didn't make sense to those who use it.

That's all you needed to type. Relax and take the stick out of your smartass. Thankfully, AI can never replace that part.

Anyway
It's not free, you have to pay $12 every month to use everything...there are only a few things free to test
