Yes. Best one I've seen yet. I learned quite a bit to help me understand how I'm going to use the new functionality in my workflow. At first, I resented the idea of using live loops for shaping my production. Now, I'm seeing all the benefits of why Logic is going this route. If you're more focused on mixing in general or do crazy draw-in automation style EDM, I would stick to the normal arrange view. If your workflow is more pop, hip/hop based, and some EDM, Live Loops is a great addition. Especially for recording instruments quickly. I just fully learned fruity loops a week ago just for fun after using logic for the last 11 years. I was impressed with how quickly FL Studio let you arrange ideas. Especially for hip hop. Now there's absolutely no reason to move DAWS for certain tasks like beat-making. This new version of logic has you covered. I just wish they had more short cuts like FL Studio in the new step-sequencer and live-loops mode. Maybe a future update will add this. Hope this helps somone! Cheers

Right on, thanks. From what I’ve seen, there’s a lot of new avenues for my workflow with this update and I’ve decided to put off the idea of using Ableton in tandem with Logic which is better for me since I’m still trying to become a lot more proficient at Logic. Looks like there’s now a lot more to master but it’s great to have a DAW with so much capabilities for both loop based and live recording music.

Yeah, from my own personal experience, stick to one DAW and master it. I mean, half of the top 40 hits are probably made with FL Studio which is considered by many to be a "beginner daw". The point is, you can make great music with pretty much any daw nowadays. Just pick one you're most comfortable in. I still use Ableton for live shows but I don't see a good reason to use Ableton in tandem with Logic for production. I know some guys that use Ableton for production and then mix in Protools but that's still a lot of extra work IMO for bouncing-out stems. Best of luck!

Yeah, definitely agree with just focusing on one DAW. Pro Tools was what I used quite a few years ago so Logic was a fairly easy transition for dealing with live instrumentation. Capabilities have changed a lot though and I was never a power user to begin with so there’s plenty to explore within just one DAW. I’ve been using a lot more sample based music and liked how Ableton was setup for that but Apple has made it easier for me to do everything within Logic now, very exciting.

the hits aren't made in fl, it's the beats that are made in fl, 90 percent change the hits are made, mixed and mastered in pro tools/logic
