HI, I install a few times but open and no charge the dialog windows I mean no show me the option for open a new project may be I'm doing something wrong during the installation. if somebody could help me an explain me step by step how to install it?

It´s such a honor, to use PT.
really, coming fresh from FL - Cubase and now i gonna use Cubase for Producing and Pro Tools for mixing.

Pro Tools has really the best quality .
i tried FL, Cubase, Logic and now PT.
few EQs the Avid Verb One and i got the biggest and cleanest sounds out of the box.
With Bluecat patchwork and jbridge my old Nexu 2 runs.
Thats so so impressive.

Don't recognize Eleven Rack
After opening PT
It loads info for Eleven rack
and then i receive an error message :

Access violation occurred, thread cause a DEP Violation at: 0x0000000000118084

I've downloaded the 64bit driver for Eleven but no result !!

An idea ??

Hi there,
I've this situation, I've been working with pro tools 10.3.9 and waves 9r30 without any problem, with Pro tool 12 rejects waves license, renaming it with extension .out. , the results is that i can't use AAX waves 64bit , Any suggestion?

Yes, i got 9r30 working fine in my 64bit laptop, also on pro tool 10.3.9, however when I installed 12 and replaced waves aax 64 bit, unfortunately before anything pro tool 12 bounces my waves license and gave me the window waves license error. odd.

Hi! I'm getting "not responding" error after the launch. Waiting for a few minutes helps from time to time, but then it crashes when I'm trying to create a new project. Google says there might be a problem if any external hard drives are connected, but even after removing my external drives the problem remains. Does anyone have the same problem? Or even better a solution? :D I'm on Windows 7 x64. Thank you!

Hey man, i have exactly the same problem. I can't seem to launch pro tools. It just appears the logo os pro tools but the loading bar is not growing, it just stands still like a veggie. I don't know what to do anymore. If anyone is willing to help, i would be more than thankfull

at first, thanks for that big fat release!
Unfortunately, two days of hard work to get the video engine activated, without any chance! tried on two different systems, win 7 & win 8.1 64 bit with 16 and 32GB of RAM. GTX nvidia Cards.

Please, can you confirm, video engine is working on this release? !!

since there is no uninstaller and the app does not appear in the "apps & features" , i have uninstalled this manually by deleting the AVID folder and also stopping & killing the avid..something service, did i do right?

ps: pro tools sucks big fat ass

I feel you, took me a long time to get pro tools right in my machine. I'm sure you know you can uninstaller from control panel, programs and features, then delete the avid folder.
Also with pro tools 12 i found some of the aax 64 plugins not working and a bloody pop noise when stopping play with the spacebar, so I totally uninstalled and installed again pro tools hd 10.3.9, installed from scratch all plug ins, now working 100% combine with ableton 9.5. Just in a few special cases i use sometimes cat blue patchwork for those plugins that i don't have RTAS, you might ask me why i did not use it in pro tools 12, well it is a bitch too to work without the names of the plugins on the tracks, a few are ok, not most of them. I must admit pro tools 12 is a bit faster. I'll wait until there are enough aax64 to move to pro tools 12. Btw Ableton surfing the screen is so superior than pro tools, however bus and aux pro tools management are great, so I develop most of my mix idea in ableton (auditon tracks, wrap and screen manipulation) and then all processing in pro tools. In this way improved my workfloow bit time.
