Not sure here but check whether you have Avid's Application Manager already installed on your sys, if yes, uninstall it & redo a clean installation of PT AudioUTOPiA's release.

To be fair avid was going downhil in terms of money, check out the gearslutz posts about this, if anything this is gonna help their company, if people get interested in this DAw they will support the company and buy it, and utopia guy is a hero for the scene!, viva! thanks!.

Error 1309 fixed (related with the length of the directories path) but now at the end of the install process I get the message below and then the installation rolls back.

I know that this is related with the Visual Studio C++ but I can´t find the way of clening the wrong registry lines, if someone knows what to do is welcome.

well, It's a little tricky..
1) Open TransVST and wrap the plugs you need (no more that 50 at a time or protools will reject them)

2) Wrapped AAX plugs will be create in you 32 bit AAX folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins
If you want PT12 to see them you have to move 'em to the 64 bit AAX folder:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins

Now you need to "fix" the plugs

3) double click on the AAX plug and go to Contents \ X64 folder, drag and drop <pluginname>.aaxplugin into TransVST_Fixer.exe app (you'll find it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Sugar Bytez).

4) The app will create a with a working plugin. Replace the .aaxplugin file with the one you'll find in the newly created "modified" folder.

installed this after some other AUtopia plugs, and then it wouldn't let me install any other AU plugs after installing PT. fatal error. I suspect I need to shut off Pace, but the service named in the nfo wasn't there. I'm on win7. Anybody feel like pointing me in the right direction?

Hi guys, i have win 7 Sp 1 x64 bits, i install protools but "AAE error -6117" show me in the moment i start the program, anyone can help me? i have asio all and one fast track ultra too, i try push N for the audio options but dont join in the audio options, only show me that error.

With track freeze! I saw a video on youtube showing that it works but it took over 40 seconds to freeze a 27 second track with one plugin. I hope this is an anomaly.

I teested it for a little while, and there s something wrong: when u load a clip in a track and u click on it it gets highlighted, and that s normal, but when u want toremove the highlighting it s a m mess, u deed to be lucky and clic at the beginning of the track,and usually it creates a fade, that u have to undo later.
If u have more than one udio track in the project ,they get automatically grouped and u have to ungroup them from the track list on the left,but whan u do another operation they get grouped again,quite annoying.
And to delete or make a track active or inactive u have to click on "track" in the tool bar rather then right clicking on the track name in the edit window"
These are all bugs that give serious headaches,am I the only one experiencing them?

No offense but you've said this here and 3 different threads on Audiosex. Nobody else is having this issue. Please don't say "There is something wrong" and give people the wrong info.

Instead say "I've tested but I've ran into some issues (list issues) is anyone else having these problems? Maybe it's just me. Any advice how to fix this will be helpful thank you".

No the problem was on your end not this PT release. Your giving people bad info. You figured out your problem now make good by editing all your post where you said "PRO TOOLS HAS A PROBLEM".

Dude you posted this all over audiosex and here. Is it too hard for you to do the right thing for the good of the community? Kind of a disrespectful towards AudioUTOPIA's hard work if you don't.

I said that fucking "MAYBE" pt or the cracking was the problem,as a matter of fact I asked if anybody else had experienced the ame issues.
Now, if rather than trolling ,u learn to read,I never said PT has a problem,I entitled the thread "PRO TOOLS PROBLEMS" since the problems occured using PRO TOOLS
