Well, I've tried everything and I'm at the last stage now .... it's running in demo mode in Vienna pro, I've run the keygen generated the file but where exactly do I put that file? In Cubase, it's just a black screen with no graphics?

is this for windows only? there's no installer in the folder and I can't open the AD2.app file too. do i need to install previous version of it?

In the BIG Sur system, LOGIC 10.6.0 cannot use it, the GUI of the plug-in is not displayed, it is completely black, but when I hit the keyboard, it will make a normal drum sound!

Trying intallation on a MAC running Big Sur. No previous version installed.

I followed the instructions and I placed everything in the right place.

When I launch the standalone application for the first time (and all other times..) it says:

No GUIBoot found!

I also tried to Batchmod the application but no way. Same error.

I can see that many people are in my situation. Is there anybody who could please write down a working solution?

I think ive read all the comments spent an hour on this but no luck... it works fine with the standalone app but it crashes on validation with logic 10.5 mojave . this is what i get from terminal also ( which is the same thing i get when i try to patch XO and other plugins with this method )

finally got it working, needed to download the codesign tools from apple.
am i the only one who experiences crashs with logic when i click on the arrow button at the bottom of the mixer in addictive drums "kit" page ? when i go to select to route the track to a different output ( in a multioutput instance of course) it crashes loic most of the times... thx

Has anyone got this working on Catalina 10.15.7 and Logic 10.6.1 thanks. I was having trouble getting the standalone app to open as just says cannot open when I double click. Logic on validating just says no GUI. Did a Batchmod on app and tried the code sign in terminal on the component still no luck.

So I sorted the no GUI thing by getting the standalone app to finally work by opening the app package by showing contents and then opening the macOS folder and dragging out the Addictive txt file in there and running a terminal command chmod +x and then dragging it back in making it an executable file. I then did the whole log and ran the keygen etc and got it working, I signed the AU and VST but Logic gives me this message when trying to open 'Failed to load Audio Unit β€œAddictive D”, please contact the manufacturer for an updated version or further assistance.' Live seem to work ok with the AU so im not sure of the problem with Logic 10.6.1, Any ideas? The funny thing is it validates successfully but just doesn't open.

Can you get the standalone app to work? That's the first thing you need to get to open once you put other data in the right folders. Read my comment above if not.

i tried a batchmod but nothing... yes i read your message earlier and tried all the solutions proposed by others.
I will try yours but i'm not sure to understand what i need to do :
i need drag and drop the AD2 txt file IN the terminal and write chmod +x after or before all the text i dragged and dropped ?

its ok for everything for the moment, but apparently is there a trojant in the K'gen and when i use wrappe key on my mac i can't write the ID.
any ideas ?

The keygen is fine, run it on a pc or Parallels.
Let me know if you get it working in Logic 10.6 /Catalina. I have it running in stand alone and Live.
I think its a Logic issue and maybe this version is too out of date for the current 10.6.1.

I put the licence folder in the same folder as where the library is which should be in the HD main library/application support folder and NOT in the user library. so create folder XLN online installer/app/Licenses folder to the existing folder (XLN Audio)

Can't get the VST or the AU working on 10.15.7. Reaper says β€œAddictive Drums 2.component” is damaged and can’t be opened. Same for the VST. Tried running the codesign on the component to no avail. Standalone works like a charm. Any thoughts?

Hey guys, I am quite new to DAW and have only downloaded a few minor effects on Audioz.
I'm having trouble with this one, do any of you know what to do after extracting all of the 11 .rar files ?
I get a file from them, filled with a lot of .rar files all named "r2r-8324" but I can't seem to extract them as they keep requesting me access to another file named "r2r-8324.r0" which doesn't appear anywhere.
The answer is probably quite simple, I'm just not used to these kind of downloads !

If you're on mac, download "The Unarchiver" and open the rar file with it. If you're on windows, download "WinRAR" and extract it with that.

Everything's working, but I'm getting an error upon plugin startup in Ableton: "Wrong resources. The program resources have the wrong version. Please make sure that the installation is up to date."

For extra info, I am running Mojave 10.14.6. Does anybody have any solutions? I think it's because the only installation material in the crack was the VST and Component. I'd need a dll file too, right? Or some other type of file.
