DAW, I agree that Zuchati Manicotti's positiveness is yet to be discovered, but, please, dont over react. We dont need off topic comments ... Maybe he's trying to make friends ...

He should contact Wolfi's agent for that !

OK, next time I'll use the sweeter :

t'as pas fini d'tourner. "

Le Pachat
Dialogue by Michel Audiard

Jean Gabin / Le Pachat

But it'll loose it's spice in the translation...

Just wanted to throw in that you can use your EZDrummer midi within AD2. You just need to create a custom midi map.

@ SignalFlow562 :

If you mean the EZDrummer MIDI grooves, then : there is no need to bother create such a map : use EZplayer, the map AD2 is included ( as some others ). So we can mix both sets of grooves easily =>

I opened EZPlayer in Samplitude as you have shown in your example. Is there a way for me to take a midi groove from EZDrummer and export it to Additive Drums? For example, I have some Groove Monkey grooves for EZDrummer2 which I can see in EZPlayer. How can I export them such that I could use them in my Addictive Drums 2?

Thanks

I followed the instruction very carefully, and have tried all the possible ways that i could think of. Nothing seams to work, all the kits are " In Trial Mode for 10 days". Running macOS Mojave 10.14.6 .

I put the XLN Audio with addictive drums 2 logo in applications folder. But it says that it can't open it. How can I fix this?

Add " torrent " to the title of this post. Google it. Today the 3rd link is already your answer, identical to the source mentioned in here on page 3, so it's an OK one. ( In fact mihalogia's got the flu. )

Hello friends,

I have a little problem. Install is ok but on daw, it says "no GUIboot found".
Does anyone have the solution please ? Thanx in advance

The library has to be in the specified path only, /Application support/XLN Audio/.If you keep the library in anyother location, it wont work. Also, aliases wont work. The AD2_Library_Placer works only for Windows. Hope this help.

I'm on Windows but I copied this for Mac users, worth a try:
[MacOSX]
00. Uninstall previous versions.
01. Mount the ISO.
02. Copy the Library folder "XO" to : /Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/
03. Copy the app to: Applications/XLN Audio
04. Copy the plugins to their respective locations (VST + Components) Do not deviate.
05. Run Batchmod to repair the XO application file (all boxes checked except Clear ACLs)
06. Run and close the Stand Alone App one time. (This creates a log file)
07. Locate the log file in: (User DIR) ~/Library/Logs/XO Logs/
08. Open the latest log file and find "ComputerID", then copy its numbered text.
09. Run included keygen on Windows (or Mac if you know how).
10. Input ComputerID you copied from the log file in step 08 into keygen.
11. Click "Generate (OSX)" on keygen & save license in an easy to find place.
12. Move the generated license (LicensesOI.txt) to the location below.
/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/XLN Online Installer/App/Licenses/

The steps above resulted in this working for me on 10.14.6 in Studio One v4 with both the VST and AU tested. The Stand Alone works as well.

Notes:
If you already have other XLN items installed then a "LicensesOI" file will already exist on your drive. Replace it with the newly generated LicenseOI file. Your other XLN items will still work, at least mine did.

Logic Users:
You must open Terminal and paste this code to get AU to pass validation:
sudo codesign -f -s - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/XO.component
I do not use logic and can not attest to this working, so you are on your own there, sorry.
However, the AU does work in Studio One.

Mac Users,

Mojave and Logic 10.4.7. All working fine here.

I used the Online Installer from their web site, I installed everything online since we didn't have any installation packages for Mac, then opened just a plugin to find my Machine ID in trial mode (check the about section).

Then created the LicensesOI.txt file with XLN_KeyGen.exe in VMWare Fusion (you can use other options).
Move the generated license (LicensesOI.txt) to the location below.
/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/XLN Online Installer/App/Licenses/

Since all the data folder was already created (because of the web installation) at OSX/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/ , I just copied the .iso contents and replaced the original.

Then replaced .component files, after that did the Terminal window routine.
EX: codesign -f -s - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/RC-20\ Retro\ Color.component....
Did this for all the .component files. Just drag the plugin file to the Terminal window after the codesign -f -s - . Just make sure to have a space after the dash).

Also did the Reset/Rescan for all XLN Audio plugins in Plugin Manager of Logic Pro X.

Sometimes it is good to do a restart if you think you did it right but still not working...

Good Luck.

Thanks for sharing this, Togitom! So you had to make an XLN account? And please excuse my ignorance when it comes to terminal - could you, maybe reexplain. that step? Thank you!

Thank you @togitom for your break down on instructions, it really gave me hope but unfortunately did not work for me.. im pretty sure I followed the instructions precisely but still thanks.

At first I got the blank white screen when I opened it in my DAW, after a while I noticed the sounds work but I can't see anything..

I fiddled around a bit more and got this error message

Sorry! A serious error occurred, try running the XLN Online Installer again. If this does not fix the problem, contact support.

Error information:

Sounds like corrupted installation. Try installing it from the web like I did, then do the magic!!!

First check with the legal to see if the GUI works, then see if the problem is your downloaded data.

Cheers
