I'm not a Mac guy and probably will never be one, but indeed, I find it cool that you guys can enjoy the same stuff that are usually released on Windows first.

That;s how things should be. And then next stage is more Linux software. The important thing is that as many people as possible start moving from Windows, and more great software helps immensely. One of the reasons why I love u-he. They know what the future will bring.

Real talk, those crackers have seen more code than all programmers combined, they should code some kind of VST bridge for Linux that reliably makes every Windows VST plugin work on Linux without problems. Haha it's so easy to write this sentence but yeah that would be a dream. Then it's hasta la vista Windows

LinVst already does that and it usually works very well! Supports only VST2 though.

Since 1991 (birth of Linux) people always talking about Linux, nothing changed and never will change. Statistics shows only %2 of people using Linux.

Not gonna happen as Linux dont support most audiointerfaces and there is very few interfaces that make "drivers" for Linux
When RME,Steinberg,Focusrite,Novation,UAD, etc etc will support Linux they will move away from Windows.
Real musician will never go to Linux before that happen.
Computer programmers that put out computer made music (without knowing what they do musically as the computer fix everything for them) may do it.

If the interface is class compliant it will work on Linux. It's plug and play. You can generally use interfaces from these companies you cited (Focusrite, RME, Steinberg, etc.). Linux still has a long way to go to become popular in desktops and audio production, but, right now, you can certainly do professional audio work in Linux.

Interface that is class compliant always has sh..... drivers!
It is not what you've got; it's how you use it.

Also Novation makes few -sort of insignificant- audio interfaces

Hmmm... both my RME HDSP card and TC StudioKonnekt work in Linux. My only gripe with Linux is developer support - more *native* plugins from companies like Voxengo, DMG, Toneboosters, Valhalla, PSP, Klanghelm, Native Instruments, Roland, Korg... and a few more that I use. I love u-he plugins and they work in Debian Linux I'm using [v9.x], but I really miss Valhalla FX, Voxengo all of it, Kontakt, Battery, FM-7/8, DMG EQs... although yes - I could do everything in Linux using the plugins I have and my hardware, on the other hand.

was already in 2.1.7, so might be in this pack too, look like mostly a mac update cos all the dev get issue with new OS

just installed on win 10 64bit, works great, all of those kits are there plus all the previous, I can't tell whats been updated honestly.

I uninstalled the 2.1.7 first, when i installed the 2.1.9 it keeps your user created stuff. just make sure if you delete your sound library to replace it with this one you click on the AD2_Library_Placer.exe to ensure ad2 knows where your new library is.
