Thanks, now I need to say I'm as usual a little dumb, extra packages must be downloaded and installed to find those files.....

BTW, Oly, does this program worth the time to be studied ????

It's hard to decide this on your behalf, but I think that it's worth it. It's kind of in the middle of 2 world. That why it s interesting for me at least.

Many thanks. So, after a strong fight with Ableton, I'll try to start another one with this tool

Which Daw are you coming from?
Are modulation and or MPE important for you?
Anyway, you should watch some videos before trying to use it.

Look at these 2 videos:

1. Studio One, Ableton
2. Not so important, rarely used in some orchestral intros
Thanks a lot, I'll take a look to your suggested linked videos

It's quiet different than S1, but much closer to Ableton.

Hi people new here. So I downloaded this 3.0 and the 2.4 version with the patch to stop it saying build expired but both of them have the beeps on the sample song that comes with bitwig.

Is it true to say the beep is only with the sample song/session? Can I use it on new projects or other project templates without the beeps?

Will the sample packages work and install okay?

Thanks.

So, it started beeping today, out of the blue, after many hours of playing around...Any solutions to this yet?

on a custom project or a template ?

Custom project. It doesn't have anything to do with templates. It's got a time-bomb that is activated after a certain number of saves, in any project.

AVOIDS BLEEPS PROCESS :

To everyone interesed, to Avoids bleeps here is the process i use since Btiwig 2.4 who is totally working for me >

Bleeps can be routed in a separate audio OUTPUT than Master output (speakers output)
It only can works if you have Multi output soundcard insatlled and plug to your computer...

https://ibb.co/W6qKQpR
See on this picture where you can route this output.

This is called "Cue / preview output" ; and this is where you will have metronome out, pre sample listen and "bleeps" . As you route this output to a different out than your master section, you can use bitwig exacly as usual without the bleeps.

I work like this for years now and the only problem it cause is when you want to pre llisten samples. Just un-mute the "cue / preview out" in you routing software during you pre-listen time, and mute it again when you want to play your project.
In my case "bleeps" only apperas during play time...

Thank's to all.

So far, it`s running smoothly (Win 7 64). I`m very impressed with Bitwig. It`s already my go-to DAW (along with the mighty Reaper!). I`ve already begun saving my nickels to buy it... though it`s going to take me about 3-4 months to do it (shitty part-time job). Anyway, a BIG thank you to the uploader... and congrats to the makers of Bitwig (I`m buying it soon!).

Thanks! I really like the interface customizations and the workflow. If they could publish a midi only edition at a reasonable price, I will buy it. I have no interest in audio tools and the price is too high for me.
