so i need some assistance,

if i scan a folder that has 30 Kontakt libraries, for what reason might it only add 22 of those libraries, is there something i need to remove add?

For me, it was the libraries that had neither .nkr, .nki, .nicnt files, etc.
Simple but kinda tedious process to fix that, if you haven't already —

•`Add self-made (unencoded) library`
• Name it, obviously
• Browse the folder

Not Working for Me
After loading the Plugin Kontakt 5 Portable 64 out in FL Studio 11.. Ia'm getting this Error " The Procedure Entry Point ucrtbase.abort could not be located in the dynamic link library api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll "

In that case you have to install the Visual C++ Redistributable 2015 package manually and if you then still get an error (because you're maybe working on an OS that is not Windows 10), then you also need the Universal CRT update.
This update allows Windows desktop applications that depend on the Windows 10 Universal CRT release to run on earlier Windows operating systems.

@r4e Thanks for being so helpful man but the problem is I already have Visual C++ Redistributable 2015 installed and when Ia'm trying to install it again through ur provided link.. There is only uninstall option coming .. Ia'm on Win 7 tho

i also had your same problem in win7 (and i already had Visual C++ Redistributable 2015 x64 and x86 already installed). what fixed it for me was 1.) updating to win7 SP1, then running the Universal CRT update at the link r4e gave above. that totally fixed it for me.

I think I had the same thing as you at first,
it was a box and the letters were red?

What worked for me was copying the whole extracted folder to
my VST location and just leave the VST in there.

I have copied the whole extracted folder in VST folder inside my FL Studio directory and yes First it it showing what I said in my comment .. After that .. That Black Box with Letters in Red

Always excited about Kontak releases.
Thank you for this release.

A part of the instructions says:
"4. Can be used in parallel with the installed version of the Kontakt."
so I didn't uninstall Kontakt 5.6.6 and I wouldn't want to (in the middle of several projects)
however in S1v3.5.1 (win7/64) portable Kontakt doesn't show up, only the old version does.
Did anyone have more luck?

Is there a way to really keep the old Kontakt and have portable version accessible in S1?

blacklisten in cubase are dll in 32bit.... (becouse cubase 9 do not support 32bit vsts anymore). kontakt 5.7 64bit portable dll works fine.... click HERE to check it

If you use FL studio, extract first from winrar after that create newfolder extract everything in new folder, copy all content from that folder to program files open fl studio browse for new plugins add path Kontakt 5>x86 or x64>Vst and that is all works like a charm!thanx guys!

What an amazing release! Integrated perfectly into all my old tracks. I stupidly deleted the version of Kontakt I was using, right after installing this version, without thinking about old songs using the old version of Kontakt. Thought I'd lose all my settings and presets, but nope, all there exactly as I left them!

Using Studio One 3.5 on Windows 10 Pro 64x. All works like a charm, even after uninstalling previous version. Everything picks up where the old version left off.

Why is it that I can only run the 32 bit vsts on my 64bit FL?

EDIT: I can only run the 32bit vsts on FL 64, but only the 64bit vsts on FL 32...

I checked this lib and you are right. it does not recognise 5.7 and 5.6.8 SymLink.
But you can manualy import patches browsing "file" tab and guess you already konw that.
Anyway theres is a good news if you want to get this lib appered in left sid of both thesr 02 versions..
