I doubt there will be a "normal" installer in the near future. I think they all will be symlink installs like this to bypass the protection now. This does have an installer where you can choose the location of the files if that helps. This is much easier to install imo

The install.exe is to create links for your existing VST path + add shortcut icon on your desktop/start menu.

The best thing here is the Library Manager. You can add any path/folder that doesn't have scripted libray. Really cool, and then you just have to add a wallpaper.jpg, inside your chosen folder et voilà, you have a brand new custom library. No more fucking around with fake nict files...

Also, moving libraries up or down is much faster with the lib manager.

Great Release!!!! Now i can finally run a Legit and portable version!!

Only thing I have noticed is that the Library Installer will not load wallpapers for un-registered Kontakt Libraries. So any libraries un-coded will not have a black box with a name on it.

regardless... This is still an awesome release!!!!!!

If you have libraries that don't have a wallpaper, then in the Library Manager select the library then select change. This will add what ever image you want as the wallpaper.

Works really fine. It took me some time to be seen VSTi but I took file into C directly shorting its name and it was seen right now.

Not sure what I am doing wrong. I can access the standalone but the vst's won't show in Studio One or Cubase 9.

I have pointed each DAW to the VST folder. I put it on the C drive. Just will not show.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have Cubase 9 too, it happened to me too, but...
1) Did you put into C all Kontakt57Portable file?
2) Then you must add into Cubase VST 2 searching: C:\Kontakt57Portable\Kontakt 5 \x64\VST
3) Then, opening your Cubase 9, you ll see in your VSTi s the following:
a) If you have another Kontakt version too, you can see: x64 > VST > and the Kontakts
b) If you like me, see it works fine and delete K5.68, you lll see now directly the 3 ways of Kontakt 5 Portable

In Cubase9, have you checked the blacklist in plugins manager and reactivated ..

Yes ..... all dll's under the Kontakt vst folder are blacklisted in Cubase but not the vst folder itself, but when I point to the vst folder in the daw they do not load.
Would anyone be kind enough to paste the way they installed ..... would be very grateful to get this running.

I think I 'm having the same problem as you, but with FL. I think it's the DAW that causes the problem, as I was able to open it in Reaper. Any help is appreciated.
