Thank you for your reply, but my problem is that I can't run kontakt in FL at all. It says that the Fruity Wrapper caused a critical error. I've looked everywhere and I uninstalled both software. Please Help!

I use Sonar Platinum and it works perfectly well for me. Did you run the "install.exe" which is located in the main folder. What the installer does it creates symlinks in your vst folder.

weirdest thing has anyone got this to work in studio one 3.5? i have tried installing reinstalling everything but it works in ableton.does it matter if i have kontakt 5.6.5 also? i wouldnt think it does because it works in ableton but figured i would ask

To make it work with SO 3., i went here "C:\Users\Your Username\AppData\Roaming\PreSonus\Studio One 3\x64" and delete "Vstplugins.settings" after that, the next time i opened studio one, it scans all my plugs from scratch !

Finally! A new update that has a vital thing in it! Easy to install, only thing it (portable) rly screws up is snapshots, but ya can just c/p from (ie) users/ to the userdata/ folder in portable location. Bit fiddly, but no real issues.

I'd recommend everyone install this version, don't look back! The library search thing alone is the best idea they've had since they introduced libraries! OMG. Finally got all my libs added to Kontakt!

All the plugins show up in FL Studio, but Sonar Platinum doesn't find the Kontakt 5 Portable x64 16out.dll. Don't really need the 16out, but it's a little weird.
I can do it myself!!!

if i wanted to start a new conspiracy theory, i would say:

"at this exact moment, the chinese government must be really happy, with all the data they are gathering from each computer in the planet that has run this kontakt app"

but fortunately, I'm not into those conspiracy things :)

ps.
normally, whenever there is a kontakt or waves release from an 'unknown/smaller' group, a few days later, r2r show up and release their 'good' version.
it will be interesting to see which path they will take, to crack and release their version : cracked files, keygen, portable...?

ps2. am i the only one to find it really strange, that cubase didn't get the usual V.x.5 update, last june/july? were they wanting to move to a v10 as fast as possible ? because a v9.5 will look older than a future logic 11, fl13 or protools13-14...?
or was it because the 9.x pro got cracked, and they had to rework the v9.5 copy protection, and decided to only release the v10, with a new copy p., engine, etc...? (avenger copy protection got defeated so easily...vengence knew their app would be a huge target for many teams, for sure they asked 300 times 'steinberg, are you sure we don't need a elicenser dongle .??.)

I don't think anyone has mentioned this but this is how good this release is to add libraries:
* Say, like me, you have all your Kontakt libraries in one folder on a USB hard drive, called 'KONTAKT'.
* In Kontakt when you click Manage Libraries, just click Add>Browse and select the entire folder containing all your libraries.
* It will scan that folder containing all your libraries and add the ones that can be added. No more needing to add them manually.
* Make sure your USB drive is plugged in to use them.
