I never thought I would see this happen. Thank you so much for sharing this, I played around with it and it's GREAT! Such a beautifully crafted VST, I hope to find a lot of use on it other than practicing at home. It is the full package, so that was a big surprise. There's A LOT to play in this thing for such a small footprint.

For those complaining about such a highly requested, hard to get VST, buy the pro version and share it with us! I have the feeling people these days are only looking for the big, bold letters instead of actually making music.

Thanks a lot . This thing sounds fantastic. I thing synthesis is the future, specially in relation to playability. Samples pianos sound good when you play them through midi files, but when you play them on stage, they all sound like paperboard.

It doesn't install anything on Win XP. It just intalls uninstall.exe and dat files. No Standalone or VSTi.

Not only the Piano Man himself, but many well-established professionals swear by this instrument. It's hilarious seeing the list and then reading how clueless this angry kid is. It takes considerable knowledge just to realize the extent of your own ignorance.

The only reason to use this intrument is its precision. It sounds lifeless and characterless, but as precise as possible(at least for now). Like it or not. And when you'll stop rely on authorities? It doesn't matter who use it. It doesn't matter who created it. If it sounds bad, it sounds bad. But I didn't said that it sounds bad, I said it sounds "lifeless and characterless" compared to great sample libraries like Imperfect Samples(especially advenced versions).
Also, the main point was that this instrument is pointless without control over its engine, which you won't get with this version. This is why pro version costs 400 euro, and this version just 99.

This is quite a lovely instrument to play. My only gripe is that the feud between LALALA and vladdrac seems to have been suspended abruptly. I must assume they have gone to the Olymoon repository in the sky. Gosh, I hope I don't go there

Hm, that's a nice one! Still playing around here with my extended trial of the standard version, which works for 1 year and then stops its serviece caused by a last trap, I (till now) was to lazy to look for. Thanks for the post... and boys, the sound is almost the same as in the standard or pro version... so it's really nice to play around with it.

I'm not a piano player (very amateurish), but I was very disappointed by Arturia piano as well as Arturia B3. Until now I like Addictive Keys best and also Nord Stage 3 Ultimate Stage Pianos as Kontakt instrument. But piano and organ are very subjective to play: one person swears with a product where the other hates it and vice versa.

I just had a first test. It really sounds great and it has a lot of different piano models so there must be one to everybody's taste. Unfortunately since it is a modelling program, some models are not playable for me: my equipment is obviously not "strong" enough. But some models are playable. And played softly and calmly I can play all models but then, you know, sometimes you just want to rock'nroll and that's not possible for my setup. And to my taste it sounds better than my favourite until now, Addictive Keys. But that one is lighter to my CPU.
BTW: my CPU is i5-4300 with 8Gb RAM and an SSD. But obviously RAM and hard-disk are less important to CPU because of the modelling that's been done.

One major thing to consider: a piano might sound incredible stand alone, but then you have to make it fit into a song and I found that some piano's that do not sound that great when played alone, do fit very easy in a song and piano's that sound great do not mix into a song. So experience has to show whether Pianoteque sounds only well played alone or also sounds well in a mix!
