Celemony Melodyne 5 Studio v5.0.0.048-RET screenshot
Team RET | 27 May 2020 | 23.8MB
New technologies, for better results in less time. Thanks to the fundamentally improved “Melodic” algorithm, Melodyne makes your vocal editing even better than before. With perfect, natural corrections at the press of a key. Thanks to the Chord Track, you can adapt notes with lightning speed to suit the song – chord recognition included. And with the unique Fade Tool, you can create note-based fades – even in polyphonic recordings and samples.

All this is new:
the ability to edit pitched and noise-like components separately with the “Melodic” algorithm
a more musical analysis of pitch deviations
the Chord Track and Chord Grid for pitch editing, chord recognition
the Fade Tool and Leveling Macro for editing dynamics
an additional algorithm (“Percussive Pitched”) plus other algorithm improvements
search functions for keyboard shortcuts, saving of shortcut sets

* Melodyne 5 does not support 32bit.
* Melodyne 5 does not support VST2, ReWire.
* You must uninstall V4 before installing V5.

Legit installer has file association issue, our one works as it is.

* No iLok driver installation needed.
* It launches faster than original version like R2R one!

For ARA integration, install VST3.

quote by 4ccYou tell me you gonna buy this, you warez collector? Listen, if you are here there's no need to be ashamed for using warez

I'm a broke bastard, seriously, and I plan on buying more than a handful of plugins/small-bundles that range upwards of $200, when it's possible, and paying for many other smaller plugins and packs, as well. Some people are on here because they can't afford the stuff they need (or really want,) not because they're never going to pay for it. Some stuff may be farther down on my list, but everything I actually use is on my Pay-When-Possible list; I am more than aware of the fact that people who do this for a living--create plugins and packs--need to get paid.
Also, I, personally, leave comments about what I might actually buy as a solid review of the product, not to boast or brag--think of it as a buyers guide, of sorts.
And while I agree that a lot of people may spout everything from small falsities to utter bullsh*t, there's no way to know he isn't going to spring 7 bills for Melodyne--maybe he just donated at the sperm bank and they cut him a heavy check; you don't know.

Impressive. Wasn’t even aware of Melodyne reaching v5. Audioz is a great place for software news (faster than KVR, blogs, etc).

You have our gratitude, RET!

quote by DashSlapThis is a great update to 4, the sibilance detection and auto non correction is worth it alone! :)

Working great in PT12.5 (AudioUtopia), AND from what I can tell it now opens almost instantly as an insert where V4 would hog down the CPU while opening (and choke audio if playing while inserting/opening) so V5 seems to be better optimised also! great news :)

Thanks for you review

@JaynS this means melodyne 5 is not supported on win7. You need atleast win 8.1 to use it. MSDN skip down to Requirements.

Never tried this before. So if I get some vocals that have 2 artists on it, I could kid in the vocals and set them all to the same volume??

Yes! And a lot of other features for vocals!

This app is still some kind of mysterious witchcraft... or some kind of reversed-engineered alien technology.....

Those little orange blobs defy all the reasoning , all the theories, all the maths...

11 years after release, and still no similar product... CRAZY !

the lyrics are overrated, nothing will make you feel more than a melody

there are more and more producers artists and less singers, many producers are tired of a singer doing nothing and taking the glory

Thanks for the laugh.

Always loved that sort of : " there are more and more producers artists and less singers " coming in from nowhere, except from unknowledgeable people, inventing and dreaming fake statistics.

You clearly know no much about the music business, its state past and present, and the role of your " many producers tired of a singer doing nothing ". They don't want to produce them ? They change job. L.A. Reid never changed job.

The public, understandably, loves and ( so ) wants nice SONGS aka a nice melody, nice lyrics, over nice chords ( translating a quote in French from the great Henri SALVADOR, along other songs author of the supreme song " Syracuse " ). The human voice is a fascinating instrument with a billiard possibilities, multiplied by the billiard possibilities / poetry of the langage(s). We understandably love BERTHILLON strawberry ice-creams because they are so deliciously delicious, same.

Samuel Barber's : " Adagio for Strings " is certainly an absolutely moving composition, but I'd give one year of my life to be one week in the studio or on stage with ( name your favorite female singer for tonight here ) and with the public so happy to thing along. NOTHING beats this.

... but... stop. WTH did I even bother start to answer your comment :-(( In the meantime that I wrote that, you have 3 up-votes by users of your same caliber. Amazing ! One tries to explain that the Earth is rotating around the Sun, which has more mass, and not the contrary, and people are still voting for the contrary. Really amazing.

I must admit that after being a producer since around 1991, I DO prefer working with singers that "do nothing", which I take to mean that they don't write lyrics, compose music, play any instruments, or know anything about audio engineering. The simple and obvious reason for this is that the more decisions that I myself make, the quicker I can get done with a project and on to the next one.

This is not a hobby for me and I HAVE to generate enough money to pay my bills EVERY month. The more that a singer can "do", the more creative leverage they'll have and therefore the LONGER the project will take due to the increased amount of compromise and weighing of ideas to find the strongest one. If we're, let's say, working on the transition from the 2nd verse to the bridge and we agree that their idea is the strongest and decide to go with it, that can open up the door to HOURS or even DAYS more work. Whereas if we go with MY idea, I guarantee you that it's not gonna take ME but a few minutes to quickly compose, perform, and arrange the transition.

I'm aware that this sounds selfish on my part but I'm actually a VERY personable and popular producer. But I STILL must secure AND complete an average of three(3) projects a month just to keep my head above water. As far as the singer "taking all of the glory", they can HAVE it for all I care. I like my anonymity and I'm ONLY interested in being known by people who are looking for a producer/music instructor/session musician.

There's been a MAJOR breakdown in academic competence in Amerikkka and we simply cannot deny that FACT as statistics also mirror that sentiment. My Dad was a college professor for 43 years and he said that every year he had to account for a diminishing collective academic performance level in his students. He told me that when he started teaching, there was no such thing as "multiple choice" questions on exams but ONLY the "fill-in-the-blank" type. Either you know the answer or you DON'T. No guessing or "stimulating" your memory. He said that by the time he retired, he could give OPEN BOOK TESTS and there would STILL be MANY students who would score poorly. He believed that this was NOT the result of people becoming less intelligent, but rather less committed and accountable.

Surely this breakdown in the creative expression of ideas has carried over into songwriting and I must also agree that MOST of the lyrical content that makes it to radio reflects this breakdown. Now I don't know if the lyrics of today are generally "overrated" or not, but they SURELY lack the depth, sensitivity, morality, nuance, and sophistication of previous generations.

Does this mean that there are NO good songwriters anymore? Of course not. But you generally have to SEARCH for them as they're NOT the bulk of what's being forced down "our throats" on the radio.
Learn how to make tight, radio-ready mixes with the STOCK plugins in your DAW. After that, THEN you can horde out!
