What program did you use to extract the .iso out of part15?

I've used Keka, Stuffit, Better Zip and The Unarchiver and they all give me an error message when I try to extract it from the .rar.

Thanks for letting us know. It further proves what I have been saying all along. If this doesn't work for certain members it is not related to the release itself. It is user's error or lack of user's input. It also demonstrate that if a member reads these pages he or she most likely will find the answer to a question. After I explained to you about folder permissions, 3 members sent me a PM telling me they were receiving a message about it. All they needed it to do before sending a PM was read the answer I had given you.


I sincerely hope that 'The Pirate' is not too irritated by those people that are too lazy to read carefully. I do hope he realises that, for every one idiot asking dumb questions, there are at least twenty other people who are just quietly very very grateful.

For Mac users… here are instruction…
On Mac :

STEP 1.
Unzip STEAM parts 1-15 and extract the ISO wherever you like.

STEP 2.
Mount the ISO image with Disk Utility (usually the default application for this) and drag the Spectrasonics folder inside the ISO to wherever you want it to live. This can be an external drive but the default location is ~/Library/Application Support/

STEP 3.
Create an alias to the Spectrasonics Folder which should be placed at the location in STEP 2. if you have not placed the actual Spectrasonics folder there.

STEP 4.
There is no step 4 on Mac ;-)

STEP 5.
Unzip Step 5 archive and double-click the .pkg installer file. You will need an admin password to install, as usual. DO NOT start Omnisphere yet.

STEP 6(a).
Unzip Step 6 archive and run on a PC (real or virtual) or keygen Runner works just fine. PATCH the all the Omnisphere plug-ins you want to use (VST, AU etc.) in Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components (VST etc.). You may find it simpler to drag these plug-ins to the desktop and patch them there and then put them back. To be clear, "patch" means click the "Patch" button in the keygen. A dialog will open requiring you to point to the plugin you want to patch. A PC sees the Mac plugin as just another folder. What you need to patch is inside the plug-in folder/Contents/MacOS/Omnisphere. To see this on the Mac, you would have to right-click the plugin and "Show package contents".
If you patched the plug-ins on your desktop or on a PC, put them back in their respective folders in Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/.

STEP 6(b).
Run Omnisphere in the Applications folder. It may take a while to load the first time. Do not panic. Be patient, after a while the Omnisphere registration window will open and provide you with a Challenge Code.


STEP 6(c).
Copy and paste the Challenge Code into the Key Generator's Challenge Code window.

STEP 6(d).
Press the GENERATE button and copy the generated Response Code. You can right-click and choose "Copy" if you're doing this in Keygen runner on the Mac. It will copy to the Mac clipboard.


STEP 6(e).
Paste the copied Response Code into the Omnisphere's Response Code Line by pressing the Paste tab. After this operation the key generator is no longer is needed.

STEP 6(f).
Press the Continue tab and when the next window appears, quit the Omnisphere application.

STEP 9.
Unzip Step 9 archive and run Bob Moog Tribute Patch Library.pkg (Bob.Moog.Tribute.Patch.Library.Update) in the Mac folder. Your admin password will be required.

STEP 10.
Run Omnisphere. You should be good to go…

N.B. Software updates kill the crack, so yo have to go through step 6 again after an update.

To expand on Fredbloggs Step 3.
For anyone placing the omnisphere 'STEAM' folder onto an external HDD/SSD.

You must place the STEAM alias in the following location ~HD/Users/Username/Library/Application Support/Spectrasonics
(this can be found by showing hidden folders)

Rather than just the standard ~HD/Library/Application Support/Spectrasonics.

If you don't do this steps 7-9 will not work.

hey @unwindyou I notice you were able to get Omnisphere install on your machine unfortunally I cant get pass the Unzip STEAM parts 1-15 and extract the ISO. what did you use or do, to get it, at the moment Im re downloading some of the part to make sure non of them was broken up and didn't download correctly.

IMPORTANT FOR MAC USERS:

After you extract the RAR files, they all have '7z' in the name, such as:
20180906_120200.part01.7z.rar

Remove that '.7z' in all, as such:
20180906_120200.part01.rar

Now Keka will unRAR them correctly.

I wanna put the STEAM folder onto an external SSD. Just so I fully understand this part correctly and don't do any mistakes when installing: after opening the ISO I see the Spectrasonics folder. If I double click that it opens the STEAM folder. I then put that folder onto the external SSD and create a random folder named STEAM in the location you specified and then just proceed with step 5 from the Mac instructions. Is that correct?

Brother do you need to send me 4 messages all stating the same thing? You need to be patient. It is Sunday afternoon and sunny.
You need to start by explaining what OS you are using. Furthermore, even if you don't see the challenge window try copying and pasting the Challenge code and then the response code. Without much info and assuming you are opening as an administrator I can tell you that it is a problem with your system graphics. If you have a video card , disable it and use the CPU graphics. If you dont have a video card, you need to buy a brand new computer. Just kidding. Just shut down your system and turn it back on.

Thanks for your reply...i'm using Win7! For test it...but i get the same problem also with a new win 10 laptop (with i7 8750h and nvidia gpu 1050)...so are you sure that it's video card problem?
I have to install the v 2.0.3d and then the software update 2.6.e or ONLY the 2.6.e is enough?!

No you don't have to install 2.3d. The whole purpose of this release was to keep you from installing previous versions. Think about this, you have been the only one out of hundreds that downloaded it that is having that problem. Since it is happening to you on 2 computers it cant be the video card or drivers. If it is happening on both computers there is something wrong with the files you downloaded. Did you use torrent or regular? Run a SHA 256 check and post it
