i keep getting this error when i start omnisphere. that's the reason i went through all the trouble of getting this version.
and it freezes my daw when i try to install sounds..


User SAGE library contains inconsistent index data. Go to Multi browser and click the refresh (reload) button

Hi Tim, I have the same problem.
When I click on the gear icon and click on "install .omnisphere" then It freeze.

Do you have a solution?

I found out if the sound bank doesn't contain soundsources file you can just put the ".omnisphere" file in the user folder and it will show up. but the patches that use soundsources will not load.

Hey,

I am still having a lot of trouble trying to download/ unzip the files. I have paid a premium accounts and tried the file storage download method (torrent would have taken eternity). Each download seems like it takes enough time (~30 min per file from the browser download. I then unzip that 1.05 G file I get the 4.7 G compressed file. Finally, when I try to unzip that with Keka it takes a fair amount of time (3 min) and then gives me an error saying "CRC error. The file may be corrupt"

Have you (the Pirate) or anyone else experienced this and know why this is occurring. I know the files are legit based on the comments about everyone trying to install the files.

Yet.. I cant even get access to the files Please help!!

I followed your instructions on page 9 but the file still could not be extracted. When I downloaded it using my premium account the file ended in 'part01.7z.001' and deleting '.7z'
to make 'part01.001' and extracting it did not fix the error message. If I delete '.7z' and change '.001' to '.rar' to become 'part01.rar' it gives me a fatal error message.

I dont understand why keka wont extract this properly

I'm on Mac OSX Sierra. Everything seems to be working with the install up until step 6 (b).

I was having problems with the install, regarding permission of the STEAM folder. Figured that out: right-click on STEAM folder, select "Get Info" (Inspector) and then click on the orange lock icon on the bottom of the pop-up window to unlock it. Then click on the cog/wheel icon on the bottom, and select "Apply to enclosed items".

The program seems to load fine. But the "challenge code"/serial window has not popped up.
So I haven't moved onto the other updates and steps. I'm also new to Omnisphere -- I've never used it. Is there somewhere to enter the serial/challenge code manually?

Hi, first off, great thanks to The Pirate for this great package, FredBloggs and TheTard for Mac instructions.

Did the Win and the Mac install, as I have both systems.
Win 8.1 install went flawless following excellent guide from The Pirate. mac took me 2 days, there is something convoluted with the placing of the libray in another drive, first I did a symlink to that and the did the alias thing, neither of them allowed me to get working the whole library, they fail with the Moog and the User ones, strangely, the rest works fine. One thing to mention is that in Win , Omni boots saying "you are up to date" but in Mac it says "updates are ready for install" , maybe therein lies the problem ...anyway, I wanted to settle on Omni as that is what we use at the production studio, Ill have to dcide to get back to Win or give Mac another chance.

Intalled great, thx Pirate. Quick question, upon browsing through presets it doesn't seem like theres 14,000 sounds...maybe a thousand, tops. Am I missing something?

Step 6(b):

I run as administrator and it says "Unable to access plugin folder at C:\ProgramData\Spectrosonics\STEAM\Omnisphere"

So I try to create a STEAM folder manually and put the STEAM shortcut in that folder.
Run Omnisphere as administrator again. This is the message:
"Notice

Data properties file not found for Omnisphere. A possible explanation is that the installation was not completed properly (Omnisphere patch data needs to be upgraded to version 2; review installation procedure and install the version 2 data).
"

...how is it possible if I've patched Omnisphere?

Greatest post ever--once I'd sorted out the keygen and the permissions aspect of its folder it was all great and has removed a load of glitches I had with Omnisphere--can we expect a similar tidying up of Stylus??? Then I'd be happy forever

Had no problem with Trillian setting it up this way but this I get Error 634A2 on pasting the response code and the challenge code is now blank ffs repeating it, it just crashes and exits the program

Update working now, just kept deleting plugins, delete omnisphere and then run update again and try code again. 5th time it went in.

not work with studio one 4.1.4. he asks me the serial, i valid the good code and press continu, i restart omnisphere and he asks me again the serial. it's th same on the 2 os win7 64.

Anyone else getting the "xxxx.zmap is missing or corrupted" message on every patch? I am able to get the the app working via standalone and vst. MIDI is working but no sound.

I've refreshed soundsources, patches, multis, and even rediscovered my STEAM folder multiple times.

i had the same issue with FL Studio 20 ,with ur program it should be the same procedure, and this is how i fixed it

Close ur DAW Program
Start the Keygen from Step 6, click on Patch,
Go to the folder C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins and choose the file Omnisphere.dll

And then u never see the Serial thing again :D

I'd love to get this working but I'm stuck on unzipping the actual files. I downloaded the torrent to my desktop flawlessly. Trying to unzip the rar file with keka, it creates another rar without the "7z" in the name. I try to unzip that it gives me an error. I hope once I'm past the first step I'll be able to figure the rest out. Also, do I have to unzip all the archive files within the folders or just rar?

Running Mac OSX High sierra 10.13.6

If anyone has the time to help a brotha out it would be greatly appreciated.

do anyone have a good link for the complete omnisphere other than the rapidgators link (because the upload.net are dead and rapidgator has 120 minutes cooldown between each 1gb folder + limited speed) ?
