Here is our first plugin – the Sausage Fattener! People always ask us how we get our greasy sound…here is the answer. Hook up this fat bastard to your favorite DAW (AU and VST on both PC/Mac) and get dirty. The plugin is already used by Tiesto, Kaskade, Diplo, Laidback Luke and others (see below for more).

The Sausage Fattener only has two knobs. But don’t be fooled. With those seemingly simple parameters you can create loads of different sounds. Use the Sausage Fattener on a single channel with moderate settings as a musical compressor. Turn it up and you have a dirty bastard of distortion. But you can also use the plugin on a bus (for example all the drums and the bass) or the whole track as a mastering plugin.

The Sausage Fattener is used by Tiësto, Kaskade, Diplo, Laidback Luke, Chuckie, Sebastian Ingrosso, Dirty South, Hardwell, Angger Dimas, Frank E, Zedd, Lazy Rich, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Marcus Schossow, John Dahlbäck and many other DJ/producers.

Just see what Laidback Luke thinks about our little creation:
“Ever since I stepped away from Fruity Loops I was looking for a plugin like this. And you did it. Instantly hooked, and loving it!”

This plug is sorely in need of an output level control. Having to use a gain plug after it makes for bad workflow and also makes it awkward to A/B your processing results.

Cute graphics though! yes

The small silver circle next to the gain light on the GUI controls gain level. You have to hover your cursor over the silver circle and then swipe up or down using your mouse or track pad. You'll see the gain level read out rise and lower depending on which way you swipe.

isn't this a simple Tubetech PE-C1 'BOOST & ATTENUATE' left part (bass) two knobs rip off?

if yes, similar results (and even better) can be achieved with:

Softube PE-C1
UAD Pultec
T-Racks
Nomad program eq.. etc

How do i install this? sorry for my dumb question. I am using Logic X 10.2.0 on a Mac book Pro, but i just don't understand how to instal it properly. I open the exe file with the "Wine" app (it allows you to open .exe files) and then I install it... but where are my AU or "components" files... It won't appear in Logic after the installation....

I think it's only 32bit so you might need to use something like a 32- TO 64-BIT converter if you're running a 64bit setup
