On Waves site is says compatible with V12 and V11.

really hoping for a full R2R installer, still using the one released last time, so quick loading, feels lightweight and so stable and only install the important component and vst needed. Feels bad to give up that one. Waves are about to release few more plugins including the unknown new free ones, guess will wait for that and hope R2R could release the full version after.

it really is sad to see the full offline installer gone. I never understood the people complaining about "having to" install all waves plugins. Now we have to deal with online emulator stuff... I'm not complaining though, I am happy with the last full installer release.

ye the one that had flux etc added to studiorack that was the best, ihoped they would expand on the idea and open studiorack for other non waves stuff, also expand the macros of studiorack so we could make our own artists series

me too. I miss a new R2R full installer. Also waves plugins have usually more sense when they are used as a complete suite so having a full installer for them it's not a bad thing at all. Who knows what the future will bring...for now thanks for this one!

You download and install Waves Central from their website (create a account if you don't have one), download and install the plug-ins you want through Central and then apply the emulator as indicated in the R2R.txt.

In waves central , you choose offline installer and point that to your external drive or wherever. Then you can create any number of offline packages. Example: " My waves light bundle " with only the plugins you will use. It's really dead simple once you do it a couple of times.

The truth is that R2R was right that Waves should be released as a full installer. And every time there were idiots babbling about asking for individual products. Now here you are satisfied. We hope next year RET or R2R will release a full version, maybe when Waves 13 will finally be mature and with more products.

I'm using Waves.Complete.v2019.07.10.Incl.Emulator-R2R because I have too many projects/plugins with the VST2 versions of Waves.

I want to move with VST3 versions becuase VST2 don't supported anymore. If I install this latest release which is only VST3, will my system be able to recognise both versions or it'll be a mess?
Anyone got any idea about this? I would really appreciate any info about this issue !

vst3 makes installing plugins easier because it doesnt even ask for a installation location. vst2 plugins are being installed everywhere and everything is just all over the place which is the actual PITA especially if your DAW can only know one VST location at once like Ableton.

Well it allows for 2 at once, if one is VST2 and one is VST3. And i dont want plugins with dropdown menus on them, i want .dll files, that i can link and move around to my hearts content.
One location is all you need if you know how to segment and sort the (VST2) plugin folder

WLS uses cache system. If you have bad cache made by bad crack or made by legit
installation without license, you may have problem with plugin scanning and
some other advanced functions.

Quick question:

If I already have earlier Waves COmplete installed and I want to install the latest. I forgot what do I need the plugins I need to "check" choose in order to have everything Wasves plugins installed without installing the other "junk" like drivers etc..? I always forget

Any input is welcome cuz I know there's like 3 bundle you have to "check" and it install everything.

Dont know, last time i had to use waves central, it wasnt as clean as an R2R bundle, no way around that
But im gonna see now if this thing is useable, try make an offline installer without the dogshit studiorack and drivers

Followed instructions to the letter but the plugins won't load in Studio One after applying the emulator. I'm going back to the VR version which never failed to work
