Sorry ! Too fast. VST version is ok (as for Maschine), but the standalone version doesn't work (DEMO)

Are you running from the shortcut on the desktop?
Dont use the shortcut, use the program in the folder

Theres 2 folders, dont run it from the folder that the shortcut points to. Run it from the other.
This method has worked for me (and many others) since version 2.1.

If this doesnt work for you (which is strange) then the other solution
SOLUTION No 2 - Is to search the installion files (this here that you have downloaded) for the .exe file (komplete Kontrol.exe) and copy that to your desktop (as it may not be installing correctly for your computer) and run this. This too works for me (as I just tried).

I just tried a second fresh install, after completely deleting the program and registry entries and rebooting. I tried running from the Program folder as mentioned above, but Komplete Kontrol is still in Demo mode.

What β€œfix” are you talking about? There is one executable called β€œkomplete kontrol.exe” in Program Files when you run it runs in demo mode. Can someone be very specific and explicit as to how to run komplete kontrol version 2.4.0 without having to run it demo mode?? I even tried solution 2 above and still only allows for demo mode...what am I missing?

The poster of this upload recently (on August 30th) updated a new version of the download that fixes the demo mode problem. This is why the post title now has "[FIX]" added to the title. Try re-downloading the installation files, and re-install. The "FIX" version of the installation file solved the Demo mode problem for me and at least one other user. Hope that makes sense.

It's in Demo mode for me as well.
But I don't care as I use 2.3 full version and 2.4 as VST side by side. Maybe there will be a real fix in the future.

Thanks for providing a 'fix' but using these links with oboom returned a connection error. any ideas if there's a problem with the links?

Thank you. Downloaded the "Fix" version now. Uninstalled original 2.4.0 version and ran the new "Fix" install. No Demo Mode and all is working well.
