Thanks for this, I get an installation error, tried to extract installation package with Pacifist, gives several checksum errors:

Thanks a lot BigFooD for your workable update to KK 2.4, but I don't get ScanApp.app to work right! Not even applying the command << sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - >> ...
I have no knowledge of computer language ... I have reached this diagnosis after spending a long time seeing error windows with the message "ScanApp does not respond" or "the path of such plugin / preset is not found" ... although somewhat Percent of samples do work (sound) and lead to the plugin if you double-click them.

It's true that I have a lot of plugins, but I don't think that's reason enough for ScanApp / KK not to do its job well, especially when there are satisfied people in the comments here, even in Mojave.

Tested on M1 works, after putting this line into the terminal.

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Applications/Native\ Instruments/Komplete\ Kontrol/Komplete\ Kontrol.app

And if you have problems, after scanning that it says it can't find the plugin. Then add over Preferences > Plug-INs - Add this folder:

/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components

I didn't encounter an installation issue but what I came across I thought to be worth mentioning to help the next person.

I typically skim the comments to see what the reviews are, and came across BigfootD's updated link and downloaded then ran the Sudo command just in case. I got the issue of the terminal not being able to find the folder with .app inside.

What ended up working for me was going back to the original link Bigfoot posted and downloading that as well. From there everything went smooth.
