I would like to think this is cracked (for use with Kontakt, etc) but after downloading, all I can see is what looks like the official NI Installer (no keygen, crack or replacement files) for PC (MAC seems to have cracked files, which makes me worried for the PC version, as that doesn't seem to have any such files). It may be cracked within the actual official installer, but I'm too scared to install, until it is confirmed as working :)

Yes - I confirm,
VST seems to work fully but Standalone does not even open, just crashes every time you try to open it,
This is what I really wanted it for, getting a effects chain on my instruments outside of a DAW. As I can already easily have a effects chain inside my DAW, it was DAW free practice jamming that I was looking forward to.
I Installed over 1.9.3, then uninstalled and did a clean install and got the same results both times, VST Works, Standalone doesn't work.
So for me, I will await an update or release from R2R or someone.

Finally, after several hours tinkering, I got the Standalone for PC to work. Heres how:
After installing the software,
Forgot the shortcut that has been placed on your desktop, that crashes, so just delete it.
Go to the installation files and search for the .exe
(or if you don't find it quicker to get you PC to find it for you and you want to get it yourself than its here:
\KKv202R\Komplete Kontrol 2.0.2 Setup PC\data\OFFLINE\
C0CCE23B\19776C3C\Komplete Kontrol.exe)
and place it on your desktop. Click that instead and all should work - it does for me :)

Looking at the S61 MkII and the S88. Reading the info at NI's site, it looks like you HAVE to install their "Select" package in order to get the hardware up and running. That does not sound doable with any cracked software installation. I'm an actual owner of NI Komplete 11 Ultimate, but I trashed the entire install in order to go back to earlier Kontakt (with the good old "Add Library" button).

So, I'm very curious if anyone out there is actually using (as in "for real") NI's hardware controllers with k'd software, and if so, how did you get around NI's little walled garden? Thanks a million.
