Massive X is Native Instruments’ new flagship synth, built by the same team as its predecessor. Based on a state of the art architecture, it delivers pristine sound, and huge creative flexibility for artists and sound designers alike – allowing them to create, modulate, and experiment with sound from a huge range of sources, in any way they like.

MASSIVE X is only available as AAX, AU, VST Plug-ins in this version. MASSIVE X requires an AVX compatible CPU to install and run. The MASSIVE X Factory Library is
a separate installation, be sure to install via NATIVE ACCESS.
FIXED VST/AU: Projects saved without a preset name using earlier versions of Massive X will now load the saved sound instead of the init preset

Please note: MASSIVE X requires an AVX-compatible CPU to run.
MASSIVE X does not currently run in standalone mode.

Good idea, but sometimes bugs and problems are specific to a certain unique situation, that only happens to a few people, and groups don't always have enough resources to test every possible situation, and that's where public release come into place.

it's buggy but also works, anyone could create works on that,
many developers hiding at sites like here for debug, debug = incomes,
the critical reason of software were buggy is softwares running at many environments but hardware synth has only 1, if hardware synth were finished, it almost finished the 'mastering',
for those software developers, I recommend them make any software which from hardware and also has software, it would have best sound quality, native controller, connection possibilities, and never buggy.

Try initializing a patch on Dune 3 and make a basic supersaw including filter modulation. Compare cpu usage of Dune 3 with any synth.

I have tried it on 3 different pcs and I found that Dune 3 is the most cpu efficient synth ever.

Indeed, I loaded 16 various softsynths, all set to play at the same time, same channel, etc, and Dune 3 was one. It didnt even hiccup...

With the 14'000 sound that comes with omnisphere 2.6,
+ at least 50 commercial soundbanks, which have 50 to 300 patches,

With omnisphere alone, you have close to 25'000 patches. (And thousands of sound sources, arpeggios, lfos, etc presets).

You should be fine, until 2025

To be honest, even the legit version of this is pretty unstable. NI shot themselves in the foot with this synth IMO. Thank you to the cracker and uploader though.

Anyone knows TomCosm? He has a lot of Ableton Live tutorials since bc. And he is a guru in this field. He makes music with only Ableton Live's build in instruments. And he designs the sounds he uses in his track himself. Must say he also uses a lot of sample and loop sound, which he tweaks. Watch him.

MASSIVE X requires an AVX compatible CPU. AVX, or 'Advanced Vector Extensions' are extensions to the X86 instruction set architecture for microprocessors from Intel and AMD . AVX compatible processors were introduced in 2011 by Intel and AMD. MASSIVE X requires an AVX compatible processor to provide increased performance. This AVX came out first by intel in 2011 that is 9 years ago... Soon since win7 is dead nothing will be coming out for it ever again. Why do you think people are having delays or timing issues because the PC's cant handle it any more...You need to get a new PC because also soon non of the older models will work anymore no matter want you want... Instead of wasting money on Beer that you drink ever day maybe you could save up for something new but some people won't do that because beer is more important to them......

Do you mean peolpe who don't pay for software,and have been using it for years... I do download and install software all the time. Because i want to be able to test the full capabilities and then able to decide if i want to buy it or find something else that fit's my needs........ to better the product things have to change and they don't care about the people who can't afford it because the people that can will have that new PC to be able to realize there dreams...every thing that's going going to come out will only work with win8.1 but that will fade and then you will have to use win 10 and if your PC can't use win10 then your shit out of luck...... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Vector_Extensions
