Massive X 1.0.1 Update

- ADDED Preset, wavetable, noisetable, harmonization menu pinning to keep menu open, double click to select and close menu, pinned state is default

- ADDED Module bypass in header for oscillators, noise generators, filters, insert effects, stereo effects

- ADDED Hover over wavetable, noisetable, harmonization menus exposes up, down arrows to cycle through content

- UPDATED Master volume fader supports horizontal or vertical mouse control

- FIXED Crashes and plugin-blacklisting caused by Windows account name containing non-English characters

- FIXED Audio clicks related to Advanced Voice Stealing

- FIXED Intermittent crashes which could occur while resizing interface

- FIXED Routing section muted nodes display color

KNOWN ISSUES

Preset name is not recalled when reloading project in DAW.
FL Studio 20 VST: when loading a preset the interface will shrink. Fix: close and open interface.
Cubase and Studio One: Massive X hosted in Komplete Kontrol or Maschine KPI view, text input does not work correctly.

Logic 10.4.5, Ableton Live 10: using the freeze function may result in incorrectly rendered audio: save your project before freezing the track.

Graphics issues with older graphics cards such as Intel HD3000, not able to render GUI in OpenGL

Yeah, this (VST) one did not work at all for me. It crashes when trying to load any preset. It also got memory issues which causes FL-Studio 20.X to cold crash (due the bridge and memory). I did get it working but for some odd reason when I play with the waveshaper it causes a timebomb and hard exit.
Can't even get the stand-alone version to run at all(Windows 7 X64)

That is strange. Most of the issues I have had come from MassiveX being unfinished at release. But I have no probs loading presets or running in FL 20.5.

By WaveShaper, do you mean the modulation envelopes? They work but they just don't give any visual feedback which is ridiculous. No time bomb or crash though.

Running on win10 so perhaps this is win7 specific. For the CPU issue, try the following and see if it makes a difference. This is what I do for hungry plug-ins before doing anything else. Go to the settings tab in the Fruity Wrapper for MassiveX. When the wrapper settings are displayed, click on the PROCESSING tab top left. In the first panel, check the last option "Use fixed size buffers (for buggy plugins). Then try it again and see if the CPU usage is better.

but the truth is the limitation is the hard drive speed, a good ssd can solve that.

CPU and RAM matter more than hard drive speed unless you're running a ZX Spectrum. But either way, this is not the issue here.

Example: I have a very fast Alienware PC with an SSD and good RAM. I still experience CPU hogs like everyone else. You can play with eth buffer settings in FL Studio (and other DAWs I guess) but in FL, this little trick goes a long way to sort out plugins that don't quite get their act together.

Yep I meant the modulation envelopes. Just pure madness there.
I have quite some CPU power (i9) making use of 8% CPU , so that can't be the issue I believe. For now I put Massive X on ice. Just do what I do inside Reaktor ;)

Awesome advice to tweak the wrapper, though!
