Native Instruments Massive X v1.2.1 CE Rev2-V.R screenshot
Team V.R | 27 January 2020 | 874 MB
Massive X is Native Instruments’ new flagship synth, built by the same team as its predecessor. Based on a state of the art architecture, it delivers pristine sound, and huge creative flexibility for artists and sound designers alike – allowing them to create, modulate, and experiment with sound from a huge range of sources, in any way they like.

v1.2.1 — 2020-01-22

MASSIVE X is only available as AAX, AU, VST Plug-ins in this version. MASSIVE X requires an AVX compatible CPU to install and run. The MASSIVE X Factory Library is
a separate installation, be sure to install via NATIVE ACCESS.
FIXED VST/AU: Projects saved without a preset name using earlier versions of Massive X will now load the saved sound instead of the init preset

Please note: MASSIVE X requires an AVX-compatible CPU to run.
MASSIVE X does not currently run in standalone mode.

quote by BooberYou release a lot of fixes, maybe you should wait and test first?

I think the biggest problem is the fact that 99% of users will install the latest version of a particular software without taking 2 second to read the changes log...

Unless it is a small company releasing come crappy freeware, or some less serious devs (markuuuus, where art thu?),

most big companies, with a great reputation and super long beta periods,
will release their v1.0 , with almost no bugs, and will release a new version next day, that will fix most serious bugs.

So, when a company releases a version 1.3.4.8, most changes will be minor stuff like
'Mac, users can type the filter frequency with the keyboard "
"PC, added yellow color to the available colors list"....

Is it worth it installing such tiny updates, and risking totally fuking up our ultra stable daw/pc, that took months to become perfectly stable and usable ?
Why not rather waiting for a major 1. X version ?

Exceptions to software like Reaper, where even a minor update like 6.0.14.87 can include a ton of NEW features.

quote by ENtranceIm using Sylenth1, Spire, Dune 3 and Omnisphere... its enough :D

With the 14'000 sounds that comes with omnisphere 2.6,
+ at least 100 commercial soundbanks, which have 50 to 300 patches each,
Total, 25'000 sounds,

over +1200 Sylenth1 soundbanks, with average 128 presets,
over 15'000 presets,

+1000 spire soundbanks, another 12'000 + presets,

Over 3000 Dune presets,

You should be fine, until 2025 , with 50'000 unique patches

I would like to add something to this (Boober) First off they may have day jobs, Spend time with there families after Getting of of work...Then they attempt to Reverse Engineering ( a process that takes hours upon hours to do) Sometimes they are so tired they can't even see!!! some of the groups do this because they love a challenge and it takes years to master the art... Do you know that testing every feature would take several hours and i know they try there best because that is what they do......And you you want to complain about free shit.......Then go out and buy it....then you can bitch all you want to the software companies about there programs not working....Sometimes it is not even the group that is at fault, it's the company releasing a faulty update like Microsoft ever time they update windows they break some thing and takes them for ever to fix it..Especially when they don't have every piece of hardware out in the market (which is the company's who sell it to communicate the right info to MS........The person who posted this is taking their free time to post what they find so all of us can enjoy Free Shit and you want to Complain about Fixes and that they should wait and test first.....
The easiest thing to do is create an image of you Hard Drive or Use A VM and then proceed to install anything you want... But if your F'n lazy then suffer because you don't want to take the time to do things right.......So easy ......If you don't have enough space then you can stop drinking for a week and buy a 2 Terabyte Hard Drive for $40.......

There are some very nice "renewed" 2TB SSHDs on Amazon right now... just bought one, 10x faster than my old platter drive... considering a SSD next, recommendations for a financially challenged musician?
