Air Music Technology originally created Boom as part of the Creative Collection of instrument plug-ins included as part of Avid™ Pro Tools™. As the popularity of Pro Tools grew, more and more musicians and producers relied on the incredible sonic firepower of this amazing Drum Machine. Boom continued to evolve, and demand grew. Boom is now available on its own by popular demand, available to anyone who demands instant creativity in AU/VST formats.

Boom features a slick modern interface that pays homage to the most popular vintage drum machines of the past. Boom has been used on many famous projects since its launch, ranging from hit albums, feature films and radio projects. It’s one of the most loved Pro Tools Plugins.

Boom includes a diverse collection of 10 different classic electronic drum kits, offering variations on the classic 808 and 909 kits, more aggressive Dance and Urban-style kits and a powerful retro style kit modelled on the concept of a 'CR78 merged with a 606'. Each one has been created with great attention to detail and provides serious sonic impact.

Each kit contains 10 different drums, and you can adjust the panning, volume, tuning and decay of each drum within a kit. Each drum channel also contains a special tuning screw that can be turned to make a sonic adjustment, specific to a particular drum. This tweaking ability provides for nearly limitless possibilities with a user-friendly interface.

You can mix and match drums from different kits to make your own custom kit, and the drum sounds can be triggered individually via standard MIDI pitch mappings.
For instant inspiration, over 50 presets are included cover contemporary, classic electronic/urban musical genres. Boom also has an on-board sequencer that enables you to create and trigger your own patterns, which can be saved and recalled as presets.

You can select different patterns using the keys along the bottom of the interface, when you're in Pattern Select mode, and these are conveniently color‑coded to show you how they map to a MIDI keyboard from middle 'C' upwards for remote selection.

The Matrix display in the top left enables you to program a pattern, but if you prefer you can also use the keys along the bottom, this time with Pattern Edit mode selected. You'll find some nice touches, such as the ability to copy one pattern to another, and some simple controls for adjusting the way in which the pattern plays back within your host: normal, double, half or triplet time, and there's even a swing control mirroring classic MPC’s and other vintage drum machines/samplers.

Nobody wants to see R2R go, bt when the majority of users of their releases are powerless to act against their grievances, and help in some way we have no real option bt to just sit bk and watch the inevitable demise and disappearance of yet another group.

Big thanks to R2R for all their releases, and they have right. Dont make money with their releases ,greedy mirors and symlink instals or we gonna lose them for good.Thanks a milion times for making my production workflow quality and happier. R2R and AiR are those two groups that deserves a big monuments for contribution to all of us who dont have money to buy a legit software. Thanks R2R love ya!!!

i Think this is a call to SAiNT...

First of all i want to Thank R2R, as if it weren't for them i would not be here or at this level, or this domain at all, They opened this world for me, as a poor musician, and when i say poor musician i mean it, i'm not just using the card that everybody is using now a days, but it is true... anyway as the comments above me said, we are powerless, we Don't want R2R to go, and we almost can't do anything, against what is going on, but SAiNT might, and i'm calling you asking you to take actions...

i might suggest changing the way to access the scene, making it more tight...

that being said, This Message is to,

R2R, why would you judge the majority of what the minority is doing ? most of us users, we are just consumers, we don't make money off of your work or anything, you are punishing us for what is a small pourcentage are doing, if there is anything you would like us to do we would do it, but i'm pretty sure it wont almost change anything ??

anyway the only thing i ask from you is to be fair, please don't close this door on us, as a big majority can't even buy the cheapest stuff out there, i consider AZ, as my second parents, and all Releases are like gifts, that i'm unable to buy by myself...

not sure this will make any sense to you but it does for me, and sorry if my English is not that good.

We on this forum are only a minority downloading R2R releases, not only are there lots of other places... At the latest since R2Rdownload site is the first thing popping up in $$$google the majority will get another picture.

If R2R won't find a way to distribute the releases themselves and protect them from any others sites and uploaders (and I doubt it, because I don't know how this should be possible at all) and if they don't want someone else to make money with them, they should stop. It will never work any other way.
Uploaders want to make money (else they wouldn't use filehosters with the lowest speeds and highest revenues), filehosters want to make money (else they wouldn't exist in the first place), sites like this want to make money (turn off your adblocker and popup blocker for a sec and see how this site looks like).

We prohibit repacking releases made by teams. If you're posting new version of a software with working keygen or crack from older release, team that made the original release must be specified in the title.

Yeah as much as I take from here (and elsewhere around the net in different areas of computing) I've never sold a single thing, not even at a flea market, not in 20+ years of being online. I hate people who do that, zero skill, zero respect and abusing it for their own financial gain. R2R have my sympathy and respect.

I think they were clear enough, That is like on forum for double posting, that is forbiden etc. Why to make mirors of already properly K'ed stuff ?! There is no point but making money, except in one case and that is Kontakt 5.6 vr and above. Yes it is up to user to decide which release will use at end, but it is unfair i think. i support every their decision ,ever if they realy quit on US! And Audioz is greatest community of this kind out there and we know two more ,but Audioz is mother of all releases and i think that they are refering to us ,again!

well I prefer proper installers anyway, I wondered why the big fuss over all that 'no install' stuff but then jumping through hoops to install (folders) manually. Now I see why, they were releasing it that way for mirror money, not to be helpful.

I guess it's up to the site to take action then, and for us to avoid such mirrors in future.

OK. I'm going to pledge not to download any more R2R releases. I don't need any more of your releases anyway. You are only releasing what other's like V.R have released anyway. Goodbye. As far as i'm concerned we don't need any more of your releases anyway, unless it is something unique. Keep the ones you release to yourself, for all I care.

We will not ban you for saying this. We are pretty hard on banning members, they really have to over-cross the line.
But I believe that we owe respect to R2R, because absolutely all of us have been making music in a way we would never have done without their enormous work and because they shared it, accepting that by doing this they were revealing their cracking work, and there for companies would change their protection scheme, which means more work.

The only thing I regret is that their message is not clear enough so many people are simply deciding by themselves what is the cause of their decisions.

Ditto. I really don't like when they release what's already out by V.R. & when R2R say download their release because it's well cracked.
I don't want to be their puppet. I am against their 'internal' bullshit. I was a R2R fan 3 years ago. Since 3 years I am hoping that they release something "non-traditional". They mostly focus on a group of plugins and keep releasing their updates.
And V.R, man... they released VPS Avenger, Line6 Helix, Legend, Op-X pro-2, Black Rooster pack, Alchemy.... What else I can say. I can only expect something new from V.R. And I miss AudioUtopia. I know R2R have skills of AudioUtopia but I also know that they will not release slate digital, Softube, Soundtoys etc. Maybe they release these after V.R :P
Still fan of older R2R work. Still hoping. Peace out.

I am very sorry for what has been going on, I am a member for about 2 years of audioz, I am not aware of what happened.

but something if it is sad to see situations like that, see how teams like R2R, Aduio Utopia or currently Team VR, see that they have dedicated years of their lives to be able to leave the best for people, are totally affected by the people taking advantage .

Unfortunately this totally affects audioz, not because some other team takes the decision to leave and stop uploading things, but because it is frustrating to know that you take the time to give the best to others without charging, but there are people who They take advantage of that totally.

I want to thank Audioz, Mr Saint, Wu zeger, Teams like R2R, Audio utopia, VR, and all the members, for devoting so much time to people who need it without having the resources to have some of this.

Whatever decision you make, will be accepted totally by me.

A puzzle:-

R2R don't make money with their releases. But R2R releases are closed mirrors. If they don't care about them. But they do care when somebody else makes money with their releases?

Result = R2R don't money with their releases, but they want 3-4 uploaders only to make money with their releases?

I am sorry if I offended anybody, just being rational. Some choose to follow, some choose to question.
