The Lindell 354E is a multiband model of the most famous vintage diode bridge compressor, the Neve 2254E, precisely replicating its distinctive behavior and rich sonic character in each of its three bands. But in practical use, the 354E really is two compressors in one: Turn on its Nuke mode to radically shape individual tracks, and turn it off for lighter, more nuanced compression when mastering or for surgical mixing. Both modes yield the same lush coloration and smooth presence that made the 2254E one of the most revered and highly sought after compressors in the world.

The 354E is one of the very best plugins you can use to compress drums, electric guitars, and rock vocals. Unlike its single-banded cousin, the 254E, three independent compression bands (Low, Mid and High), powerful Nuke mode, and Niveau and highpass sidechain filters let you dramatically reshape tracks for maximum size, punch and bottom-end weight. And with an adjustable attack time as fast as 2µsec (two millionths of a second), the 354E is one of the fastest compressors available, capable of shaping sounds in extreme ways most other compressors can only dream of.

Fatten Up Individual Tracks

The 354E’s Nuke mode is the poster child for rock ‘n’ roll excess. It’s like throwing TNT on drum room mics. Use Nuke mode to explode the room ambience and make the drums pump like a jackhammer. Use the built-in filters to shield bass frequencies from compression, inflating the kick drum in the room mics to monster size. Then adjust the three bands’ ratio and gain controls to balance the level of hi hat and cymbals with that of the trap drums for the perfect blend.

The 354’s Niveau filter and Nuke mode are also your tickets to making thin-sounding floor and rack toms thunder with deep, long sustain and rock vocals hyperventilate with urgency. The 354E will also quickly become your go-to guitar-track shaper: on electric guitar vamps, the multiband controls and filters let you compress the bottom and top strings’ output to different degrees to boost chunky, palm-muted bass notes or blazing, high chords to the front of the mix. Compress heavily to add intensely colorful character, and then use the Mix control to dial some pristine dry signal back into the 354E’s output for the perfect blend of mayhem and detail.

Mix and Master with Kid Gloves

When you turn off Nuke mode, the 354E takes on the highly nuanced behavior needed for master-bus compression and mastering. Use the 354E’s mild 1.5:1 ratio to add solidifying glue to mixes. Kick in the Niveau filter to add punch, fullness and weight to the bottom end of thin mixes. Use the 354E’s M/S (mid-side) mode to compress hard-panned guitars without affecting the kick drum, bass and lead vocals. Calibrate the 354E’s internal operating levels to adapt to any mastering situation and handle the hottest or weakest mix with equal ease and grace. A and B workspaces let you compare alternate control setups for perfect, nuanced results.

Whether using it to pump up individual tracks to ginormous size, add density to full mixes, or apply subtle surgical compression to correct imbalanced masters, the versatile Lindell 354E is your paint brush for colorful vintage sound.

just one *probably* dumb question:

why are most of these plugins V1.0 ?

when 99.9% of the devs release the v1.0, and 2 minutes later, there already is the v1.0x available for download...

Could this mean these plugins are HEAVILY beta-tested, until all known bugs get ironed out, and when they release the retail version, there basically are NO bugs, and there is no update before several weeks or months ?

or is it because the v1.0 is "the only" version they could get their hands on ?

true legit question, don't wanna sound like an ungrateful bastard :)

WAIT A MOMENT. Are you telling me these guys got the p.a. protection cracked? :O

i don't think so...
since the bundle 3 was released,
only a few plugins from P.A. got released, like the lindell stuff, and credland stereo savage, and maybe another 1 or 2 i don't remember.

these must be using a lighter copy protection, unlike the big buys from brainworx, who must be protected by some heavy artillery ...

i think i remember reading an nfo from r2r, where they said the guy who used to break the P.Alliance copy protection was no longer with them....

maybe P.A. is one of those apps some teams want to keep internal, and we will never see it here. P.A isn't just 1 or 2 plugins.. it's at least 50+. we already had avenger, flux, ircam stuff, uhe, and thousands others, including ilok top plugins. i think the population will survive, if we don't get the latest P.A plugins :)

I don't think so. R2R has also cracked all the other plugins from Lindell and from Unfiltered Audio but not the newer ones from PA.

We hope to test them some day!

They literally cracked all of the Unfiltered Audio stuff, including Zip which came out like a week ago? So yea, I guess they did crack their protection.

Maybe they have another copy protection different from Unfiltered and Lindell.
If it's exactly the same, then there is some other reason that they don't publish them.
R2R had cracked newer plugins from Lindell like EQ TE-100 when the copy protection was the same as now.

Think I've read somewhere saying that Copy Protection system from PA plugins (like brainworx specific plugings) from all the other that are distributed by Plug Alliance or been developped in alliance with PA is totally different. That is why we've been seeing Lindell/unfiltered etc..., that are inside PA platform but don't have the same Copy Protection.
Of course nothing is impossible but from what I read, PA have leveled up their protection and that is why it has been years now we didn't see any of their plugins out here. And I doubt we'll see any soon but never say never and nothing is impossible... Cross finger

R2R stated in a recent nfo that the reason they haven't released the Plugin Alliance bundle is because their current protection method conflicts heavily with other protection types.

It was in the same nfo where they talked about elicenser, ilok etc.

It sounded like they have managed to crack it, bt have chose not to release it...probably for this reason.

I guess at some point we'll see it...either when R2R finds a working solution, and when they feel the public is worthy...

Hey guys, what about the plugin itself??
We have several thread at Audiosex to discuss cracking questions.
Please here let's speak about music and the tools being posted.

For me Lindel are one the best plugins I've tried.

Thanks to VR for sharing this one.

Huge thanks to VR for this, absolutely killing it recently. Been after this for ages!

An added bonus is that these latest PA releases work fine alongside the legit plugins, unlike the previous PA release

Amazing compressor with very musical character, loved the simplicity for the M/S, properly used can make wonders on almost anything!.

Thanks to the NUKE effect and the LINK for bands, make this goodie a very versatile tool that imparts a particular and pleasant warm to whatever is touched by it.

Their multiband and M/S functions transforms this on an efficient weapon if you are onto the loudness war. And is CPU friendly!.

This plugin solved for me a very dificult deessing on a vocal with a particular effect.

Fast track to my personal favorites.

Thanks to all involved!

I am ust a newcoming newbie and I don´t understand so much of the more deeply stuff in the plugins. Your generosity has given me oppurtionetly to hear the worlds best stuff and "this is my opinion" Lindells plugins and I get friends right away. Maby the best I have tryed so far. Awesome already buildt in factory presets. Great sounds and the presets don´t go crazy when switching over to a new sound. Stable nice looking shit. I try to learn the big DAW´s and it is going fine but I kinda like Audacity wery much and I run all Lindells plugins there. Not so many advanched plugins is stable at audacity but lindells Ust produce every time. Even when I have fingered on the knobs =) So thank you wery much for posting these!
