The core of frei:raum is a fully interactive equalizer with state of the art mastering quality. Each band can either be used in classical mode for manual EQing, or in the unique "smart" mode, offering automatic detection and removal of problematic resonances in different frequency bands.

Got your spectral balance right but some frequency ranges still sound blurred and lack presence? That's where the proximity EQ of frei:raum comes into action.
With a few clicks, you can easily adjust the relation of direct sound and reverb within any frequency range. Use the prxomity EQ for reverb reduction and flexible dereverberation - or to increase the natural "diffuse sound" of your recording.

Unlimited (a)tonality – entropy EQ
Turn up picking sounds and play with the sharpness of your snare drum! Perfect, nice clear sound but still not "tight" enough? Get your hands on the fabulous, new entropy EQ! By separating tonal components (e.g. sustained notes) from inharmonic parts (e.g. drum attacks), the entropy EQ can be used to freely adjust the tonal characteristics of your sound at any given frequency.

Doesn't work! If the plugin can't connect to the internet, it doesn't work. No chance to use it offline.

Teletoby, VinSent did you copy the com.sonible.freiraum to your user/Library/Application Support folder like decribed in the .txt? This worked for me.

Works fine here this is what I did

1. Download demo and install from developer site
2. Replaced AU and VST plugins from this post
3. Copied com.sonible.freiraum to your user/Library/Application Support folder
4. Tested and work fine

work great just do what in the read me file here
1. press on the search in the menu bar
2. type ~/Library/Application Support/
just don't forget the ~ it will show you the hidden Library
3.put this folder inside the Library com.sonible.freiraum
4. open TV then go to channel E and wait till 6 pm will be The Pinky and The Brain

For the people with auth error.

Just check BOTH of your Library Folders .. there is one for all Users on your Mac HD and another Folder in your Profile (Name xyz) .. When you just copy it on your Mac HD Library folder, it wont work.

When I copied it in both Library folders it worked for me.

If there are any authentication errors in future try this.

I wonder how many of the people having problems ever bother to read hexwars.txt.
Or maybe they read it but they have comprehension problems? Really, people never stop to amaze me.
They say "don't work", wait hours for someone to tell em what to do or find a solution with trial/error.
Isn't reading the instruction easier? They tell you exactly the same you now found out in your "eureka" moment

First off all thanks for this generous share!

Unfortunately i have a problem (im on Ableton 9 and OSX 10.9.5)
Did copy the com.sonible folder to ~ (also try the normal /Application Support)
I get the error : Device id not properly when firing up this beast.
Plugin gets loaded after i quit window wich ask for a serial.
Im always offline BTW

PS: i did use the first release (installed pkg) so i removed the first installed pkg.
But did not help.
I scratch my head :(

Am I the only one that has an issue with this plugin overloading the CPU? I've reinstalled this plugin several times without any luck - not sure whats the issue. Even with only one softsynth and this plugin on a single channel, it overloads my CPU every time. I have a 2.93GHz i7 with 16GB of RAM - so it shouldn't be my computer...?
