The core of frei:raum is a fully interactive equalizer with state of the art mastering quality. Each band can either be used in classical mode for manual EQing, or in the unique "smart" mode, offering automatic detection and removal of problematic resonances in different frequency bands.

One step closer, please – proximity EQ

Got your spectral balance right but some frequency ranges still sound blurred and lack presence? That's where the proximity EQ of frei:raum comes into action.
With a few clicks, you can easily adjust the relation of direct sound and reverb within any frequency range. Use the prxomity EQ for reverb reduction and flexible dereverberation - or to increase the natural "diffuse sound" of your recording.

Unlimited (a)tonality – entropy EQ

Turn up picking sounds and play with the sharpness of your snare drum! Perfect, nice clear sound but still not "tight" enough? Get your hands on the fabulous, new entropy EQ! By separating tonal components (e.g. sustained notes) from inharmonic parts (e.g. drum attacks), the entropy EQ can be used to freely adjust the tonal characteristics of your sound at any given frequency.

For all those who just want to rely on their ears, frei:raum offers the blind:flug (=blind:flight) mode. The visualisation of the EQ graph will be replaced by simple rotary knobs and you can just listen... without any visual distraction.

yes, I see - first EQ learns and balances ("equalizes"), second one is for transparency/space/wideness or vice versa proximity/closeness/roomy, third one is for sharpness/attack or vice versa....
Not bad EQ))) must have) really innovative, good sounding linear-phase EQ.

Not to blame any Developer (I'll certainly never be able to not even build an EQ Plugin with a 'Single Band' myself !!! ), but it seems that each time that a new EQ Plugin is released, it becomes, in some sense, 'unique', 'revolutionary', 'never seen and heard before',...

What I like the most is that is described as a 'Smart EQ'...
Well, its price is also somewhat 'smart' : 399.90 Euros !!!

People how install this, I'm doing everything , and then we throw an error: Freairum could not load properly: Device does not match licence file. Please help

As clearly stated by 'Team R2R' within their 'R2R' Text File :

1. Place the needed Version ('x32' or 'x64') in your VST Plugin Folder(s).
Personally, I created a 'Sonible' Folder for that purpose.
2. Launch 'Sonible_Host_Patch' (always as 'Administrator', it's preferable).
That's will open and close a 'Command Windows' for a very short time, don't do nothing !
3. Launch 'Freiraum_KeyGen' (always as 'Administrator', it's preferable), input the Name you want (yours, for instance), click on 'GENERATE', then wait till you get the confirmation.
4. You guess... launch your favourite DAW(s), and enjoy this new EQ !!!
