Little Audio App Audio Playr v2.3.1 MAC OSX-TNT screenshot
TNT | 24 March 2018 | 20.74 MB
Audio Playr is a handy tool to play, arrange and export almost any file that contains audio. It can handle almost anything you throw at it, as long as the file contains audio in some form. Everything from odd audio formats to movie file containers and you can export everything back to AAC or Apple Lossless. Some of the file formats/containers supported are AIF, MP3, FLAC, M4A, M4R, CAF, MOV, MP4, AVI, MKV, WMV, ASF, FLV, MPG and many, many more. Enjoy!

Create and manage playlists
Using Audio Playr you can create, edit and save m3u playlists. It’s the same format used by iTunes. Just drag and drop audio files into the playlist area. Rearrange using drag and drop.

Export anything Audio
Export any file that contains audio into AAC or Apple Lossless. Audio Playr will even add your file to iTunes automatically if you prefer that. Now it’s time to rescue the audio from all those all movie clips and weird audio files scattered around your hard disk.

10 band Equalizer Built-in
Tweak the sound exactly like you want it with the built-in 10 band equalizer. There are several nice presets available and you can of course add and manage your own.

how is it supposed to work? I open file, playr crashes, and that's all?

Audio players on MacOS are a sad story.
So many players on the Mac app store and so few that actually work properly.
They're either too slow, support too few audio formats, don't support drag & drop, and this one complains that it cannot find subtitles when trying to play an audio file, and the "many more formats" in reality means "none".

It's not "Audio Playr", its "Playr"!
