LoFi effects allows you to obtain vintage aka old-school sound. Lost-Tapes effect is based on tape emulation, but do not claim to model any hardware model.

I dont really miss the old dirty tape days.
I think the age of attainable absolute recreation are wonderful.

Perfect digital reproduction is synonymous with file sharing,
free information and free culture IMO. The sound of freedom.

But I can see how it might suggest some kind of soulful mystery,
to somebody who never grew to resent it.

The Lost Tape and Old Tape modes sounds great! Lovely saturation as well, even when Crunch is not enabled. The New mode is a bit annoying with some harshness at 11-12kHz, but I guess it's intended to be there. It definitely has it's own vibe compared to some other free lo-fi plug-ins like Caelum Audio Tape Cassette 2, Chow DSP Tape Model and iZotope Vinyl.
