2. Select Offline Installer and Click Install from an Offline Installer
3. Browse the Waves folder you downloaded
4. Select the plugins you like and Install!

it says VR patch on the subtitle above. But a quote from R2R:

We saw lots of "Incl VR Patch" taggged uploads for Windows in P2P,
but it just includes our emulator taken from our last V10 release.
Try unpacking that "Patch" yourself and you can see our small DLL emu.
100% coded by R2R from scratch and nothing related to VR.

Our last emu contains license only for V10 and below, and it lacks the
license info for new plugins. Most plugins are working with old emu but
some others does not even launch. They are not tested by uploaders at all!

These are tagged as "VR" by $$$ making uploaders to avoid the restriction
"R2R releases are not allowed to be ripped". Once again they show how those
ripped work does not work well. Non of those uploaders test it (if they run
each Waves product at least one time, they can find at least one serious
issue).

NOTE : the only real VR release "Waves Complete v11.0" contains their own
crack but not working as we mentioned in our previous Waves releases. Same
issue since the beginning.

Yes, that's right, but after Waves updated their StudioRack, R2R had given us the new V11 release already.
So I think the one who made this VR thing probably used the newer R2R emulator now, if he still uses R2R's emu.

I don't know why you guys are complaining, at least to date, you are all free to ommit downloading, but I do. Since there was a period where waves releases were extinct.

The last five or six updates have all been SoundGrid-related updates, so unless you own SoundGrid hardware, then yes, they're "useless". Also, unless they release new plugs, you can simply install Waves Central, open a free Waves account, download the updates directly from them in a matter of minutes and re-apply the patch from the last time they had new plugs.

Actually, you'll have to tell me where I "complained" about it -- all I did was answer your question by pointing out that it is indeed pretty useless to post a 5.4 GB update that only benefits the owners of certain audio hardware (which one assumes they can download legally anyway), especially when you can easily download these (far smaller than 5.4 GB) updates directly from Waves. You asked. I answered. Sorry if you didn't like what I had to say.

And before you continue your uploader ass-kissing rant, I will remind you again that I am neither complaining about anything nor am I downloading this update from here, so telling me to stop doing either thing is pretty pointless. Thanks.

If I have the Waves 11.0.50.195 release which was the one before they released studiorack am I able to use my waves central account I originally downloaded from to update and install the studio racks. Have been dreading going through that whole process just to get the racks and risk upsetting the current installation. Thanks

I've had a Waves account for almost twenty years; it doesn't go away. When you download from Waves Central, you're technically just downloading a new version of a demo. You may or may not have to update Waves Central, which I believe you can just do through your existing Waves Central. If not, it's easy enough to download from their site. The patcher is a different matter, as you'll want to make sure the patcher you're using is current enough to patch the version of Studio Racks you want. Unfortunately, your best bet here is to download this update (they don't ever just release the patcher by itself, for some reason), install the version of Waves Central included with this release, pitch the completely unnecessary offline installer, download the updates you need via your account, then follow the instructions with your new patcher. On the bright side, this should be the last time you have to do this until Waves release new plugs.

Thats good to know thanks, I downloaded the last version and didn't get round to installing so will try that one after I backup with timemachine. It's only one version behind this version so should be ok right? I also downloaded a few synths when I first installed, do they stay where they are too if I just choose not to update or can I update them too? Thanks again.
Update: Ok, so I tried replacing my previously installed Waves Central with the new one here and got an error installing so I did a recovery via Time Machine and opened up account my. It then did an automatic update on first logging in to Waves Central and I have just installed the Studio Racks without error so all looking good. Now to go back and install all those not got. Have I got to be carful not installing some of the plugins, and I guess the patcher needs to be run every time a new plug in is installed. Thanks

i open waves central, continue offline, browse for and find installer install.cen, select plugins to install, and fails everytime

Put it in public folder. Location: Macintosh HD > Users > Username > Public > Waves Offline Installers

Worked for me and installed. I had the exact same problem trying to install the last version.
