The Experience is a Mason & Hamlin Model A recorded binaurally from 3 player perspectives, so it is best to use headphones. Modulation wheel controls the “panning”. Additionally, using a smartphone and some free apps to enable headtracking, you can, for free, create a virtual piano soundboard that keeps the soundstage in front of the controller keyboard, just like a real piano.

Steinway's famous semi concert grand with Performance and VR/Ambisonic perspectives - now with sympathetic resonance modeling. Happy Holidays 2022 everyone! The latest addition to The Experience series is the NY S&S Model B, also known as the New York Steinway Model B semi-concert grand piano. Steinway B’s have actually been around since 1878, but have had many upgrades and iterations since then. One such innovation is the “treble bell” which helps keep the treble section strong by reinforcing the soundboard crown. This 7 foot grand was a recent purchase by a friend of mine, and it was in impeccable shape.

Allow me to introduce you to the Rahmani Drum, also known as the Bass Drum, a rare instrument cherished in Oman’s folk music tradition. Alongside the Kasir, it forms the backbone of Omani percussion. The Rahmani is particularly prominent in transitional musical forms accompanied by rhythmic beats.
