The CineBrass Core Library is Cinesamples’ orchestral brass sample library for Kontakt. Recorded at the world famous SONY Pictures Scoring Stage in Los Angeles, and mixed by veteran legend Dennis Sands (Oz: the Great and Powerful, Argo, Avengers, Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Shawshank Redemption, American Beauty).The CineBrass Core Library covers the essentials of the orchestral brass section, and functions as a foundation in our composing templates. For expanded content, check out the CineBrass PRO expansion!

CineBrass is revolutionary in its power and simplicity for recreating the sound of the orchestral brass section. The library was designed by composers, for composers, with direct feedback from the film music community during its development. The result is a brass library that is easy to use, composer-friendly, with unparalleled recording quality. CineBrass does not require you to purchase any sampling software, and is licensed to work with the free Kontakt Player. All you need is a sequencer like Logic, Cubase, Digital Performer, LIVE, Cakewalk, or even Apple GarageBand and you’ll be up and running. You can also use CineBrass with your favorite notation software such as Sibelius or Finale.


All of the Articulations Patches in CineBrass contain shorts of various lengths and dynamics, as well as sustains. We recorded multiple repetitions per note and multiple dynamics as follows:

Eighths Staccato @ 8xRR p to ff
Quarters Tenuto @ 4xRR p to ff
Halves Marcato @ 2xRR p to ff
Sustains with smooth dynamic morphing

What is True Legato? True legato means that we sampled all of the intervalic leaps throughout the ranges, both upwards and downwards, for each brass section. When you play a True Legato patch, it instantly analyses the intervals you play, then plays the appropriate transitional leap between the notes. The result is a smooth and realistic legato performance. For all sections we did this at 2 dynamic levels, again using our dynamic morphing to blend seamlessly from piano to fortissimo. A key feature of our True Legato patches, is the Polyphonic Legato mode. This mode allows you to play lines of 2 or more notes simultaneously, while maintaining the appropriate transition samples between all notes. This is especially effective when playing chords that need to connect in a realistic way. These true legato patches are taken from the full articulation patches, and can be triggered in the full articulation patches by holding the down the pedal (by default.) We have included these separate patches for ease of access to the legato patches. Separated Patch List: We have included short and sustain patch splits which are derived from the full articulation patches, so that if you want to have separate tracks and instruments for each of the articulations you can quickly drag them in to form your own MULTI. For example the Six Horn Patch has Legato Sustains, eighths, quarters, whole in the articulation patch. In a sub folder we have split each of these and set them as a default (FYI – it will still load the full set) to form 4 separate instrument patches.

this is Anne from Cinesamples - yes, the company you all so willingly steal from. Let me tell you two thing right here:

1)
All of our products are watermarked and contain a tracking system on top of the Native Instruments registration. We do not hesitate to prosecute people stealing from us and if you google it you will see that we have won those fights in front of court in the past. I would strongly advise you to not download anything from this website and if you have already done so, delete the product from you machines. We have already tracked down the uploader and he will have to deal with severe consequences, not just from us but from all the other companies which we informed of course.

Reading your comments above makes me and every developer over here sick to our stomachs. I don't expect you to realize how many months of work, how much sweat and tears go into the production of a sample library. But I do expect you to know what's right and wrong. Stealing from small companies like ours (yes, most sampling companies consist of 2-5 people) equals taking away our salary after we worked 12-15 hour days for months to give you the most amazing products we can produce. And even then, we try to make our products more available to everyone through sales and discounts. Yet, it seems that you think our work should just be for free. Do you think SONY MGM Scoring Stage doesn't cost money? That the musicians play for free? That the thousands of samples record and edit themselves? You must be under that impression because otherwise I cannot see how a halfway decent human being can steal from us like that and even brag about it.

Hello Anne.

I think you very much overestimate any possible damage your company suffer from the warez scene. Most people who download stuff here are not guys who would have bought this anyway, which means it's actually not affecting your salary.
The absolute majority are not using warez in a professional way, but if you find somebody who does that I agree that you should go ahead and prosecute the crap out of them.

I like your Cinebrass library, but I'm only making music for fun these days so even though I use it now and then, it's not so important to me that I would've bought it.
I'm sure you still think this is wrong, but the fact is that since we got internet with fast connections this kind of sharing is inevitable. A lot of people just like to have fun and share stuff, it doesn't really connect to the business side of things.

Dear Anne1987,

If you are really from Cinesamples you should be ashamed of your post at least. Let me tell you 1-2 truths about the members of this siteand the members of similar sites which you in all your hard working time sadly.. forgot.
You can sue me and all who download this program, it wont stop us to download it. But before you do consider 2 things:

1) You will never find more honest and more dedicated people than musicians. 99% of the guys here are not "stealing" from you, the term "stealing" means, take someone elses property to gain personal wealth or make money out of it. The users of this or similar sites are honest people who LOVE music. Thats all there is to it. You wont find Mozart here who sells his incredibly well done music dozens of hundrends of dollars using your cracked instruments. You will find mostly college people or old people who love music and dont have thousands of dollars to pay for these wonderful VST to produce a song in their home which will be listened for free from 10-100 people. And trust me musicians of this and most sites if they wanted to make a profit they (and myself included) would buy their VST and then put a price tag on the song that they made with those VST. There is no harm in your buisness from this site like there is no harm done in Adobe cause i have Photoshop CC cracked in my computer just for fun to edit family photos. Im not a graphic designer and if i was i would have it payed and make money out of it. So in conclusion have a little more respect in the people that make Cinesamples name such a big deal and praise you in every post and in every song they make. Its a free commercial on your company's name.

Really? Watching people praising your product and being eager to test it in their homes and making songs out of it and spreading the word of how perfect it is makes you sick? I guess you in all your wisdom forget that most of these people are the people who if they want to make money out of it will buy it from your site and till they do they will praise your awsome work. Iam 27 years old and i have no substancial income due to the stupid government that we have last decade. Music is my only way to put some piece of mind in my life, i have not that much money to go out for drinks and what i have i pay bills for electricity and stuff. Making music in my home (not selling it), is what i have last years and its all possible from sites like audioz. I desperatelly need money trust me, and im a capable composer. But i dont sell them (if you want i can prove it to you by mailing you some of my work). You know why i dont sell them? Cause i understand and appreciate all the hard work you put through and what a pain is to steal someone elses hard work and make money out of it. But i guess iam one of those guys that disgust you arent i? Well, most guys here have the pride and the decency to think similar like me, at least all the guys i know are.

So a little more faith and better manners to all the guys that make your comanys name such a big deal. Its not the big time composers that make you great, its guys like us that in thousands of posts we praise your name and we make free commercials for your pockets to get bigger and we buy your products if we want to put a price tag in our songs before we publish them.

Im still gonna download it and all the posts of this and other sites and im gonna use it and buy your product if i wanna put a price tag on my songs someday. Be sure of that.
Now if you wanna put me on jail you can send me a pm and im gonna give you my address and i;ll even pay you the plane ticket for you to be here Ann when they drag me to the court. ... very sorry dear software developers for making you sad and I am also sorry for thinking about 'stealing' from you. I would buy it if I could sell some of my work on the market (but I didn't even think about do something for money or ...) and if I could try it first or if I didn't mostly play and do everything else for free, but that's my mistake because I didn't put watermarks on my projects... so I can't go back in time right now or sue people (don't work in my country anyways) and charge my work.
So any of these software developers who don't want us to just take a look on their products should tell us right away about all these chains inside it(fear works best) so we will not even think about it ( me, 100 %).

Cheer up ppl, some of us could be music students or jazz musicians who have horn addiction to make some classical tunes or eventually also have composition study aspirations. If we really use something from AudioZ to sell it ( which is Sci-Fi here), we will use it for some big project only if we buy it then.

this isnt true, or at least its misleading, so i dount you're really from cinesamples, the victory in court was against "ice samples" for ripping off samples and selling under his name, beside even in that case the victory was futile since the guy from Chile didnt pay a penny to cinesamples, since the court has no jurisdiction in chile and the guy didnt even bother to show up at trials, and you can easily check what i say by googling as u suggexsted and u find the lead figure of cinesamples complaining on a very famous developer's forum because of this fact..

Anne, I actually wanted to write something, but I could not come up with something constructive or positive. Your post contain so many discrepancies and misleading references. Also since you posted your comment 3 times with exactly the same text says something of you. I'm sorry to say it, but you're being ignorant of how things work here. Stating "I would strongly advise you to not download anything from this website" is, well, self explanatory. This site hosts none of the content forementioned. In addition the posts here include also links to user-made content including, but not limited to, Kontakt libraries.

SAiNT always complies with deletion requests if they are legit, you could have written him right from the start (e.g. info > DCMA/policy) also if cinesamples do not wish their libs to appear on AudioZ, they might ask to be added into blacklist section. yes

Anne1987, as a little consolation, know that there's a karma in everything. If they, miraculously, will make $$$ worthy music out of these stolen products, dont worry, people will download their music illegally and then it's their turn to cry out loud "Stop stealing our hard work!".
But that's just a theory, most of them are just proud owners of massive hard drives filled with multiple TB of every music tool they can put their hands on. Much is really less in this case.

How do you know what computer or internet connection he is running? I'm using a 7 year old computer for example and don't even download that much. dokx1 please don't, it gives credence to every developer's misguided views on this subject. I just had to laugh....

-First of all, I am a professional musician and play with real instruments.
-Second; samples, even played by real musicans, are just that; samples.
A little bit of 'soul' in there, but everytime the same...
Whenever I get hired, it's because they want my soul on their music..
-Third; I have this 'rule', that I won't download anything bigger than 2Gb, unless it's absolutely necessary; I just don't have that kind of patience/passion....
And when I find myself using it a lot, I'll buy it, because I want the technical support when something goes wrong, and can deduct it from my taxes.
