Rubicon Drums is an exclusive volume series focused on hard-hitting vintage drum breaks that are recorded, mixed and mastered with old school engineering techniques. Each volume series comes with 12 drum compositions stemmed-out by channels — plus a dry bus mix, master mix and a spring reverb or echo chamber track.

Rubicon Drums Vol.1 contains 108 loops of a Pearl drum kit recorded in a small vintage studio through an Ampex MM1000 tape machine. The drum recordings have a rich tone with sonic pallets of hard tape saturation, solid state compression, filter/EQ and analog circuitry. The rhythm styles include a mix of soul, funk, hip hop and one trap beat for fun.
