members frequently ask me "where should I buy premium account?";
So I decided to start a poll with the most popular file sharing services.

Let's choose one we like the most and make it part of our rules to always post a mirror on that file storage.

P.S. Please don't forget that i cannot force uploaders to upload stuff on services where they won't make their penny (RS).
I neither support it, nor condemn; but I do understand that this is how things work for some people.

P.S.2. I need to know what's the situation in the states? which of these file sharing services don't work there?

I thought i'd join up to uploaded.to yesterday as it seemed to popular choice. Only to start downloading the komplete 8 library and get it stopped after 30gb downloads, I didnt realise it was limited to a certain amount of downloads. I thought it was unlimited. How crap

Unfortunately, most of the choices are quite awful. Uploaded.to and turbobit are blocked in the US. Letitbit and shareflare links always show "file not found message" (Never once have I ever managed to get a working linking for those 2). Deposit files is terribly slow in the US (avg. between 15-40 kb/s and on rare occasions 120-150 kb/s). I can never ever access uploaded.com, not even once. Bulletupload free accounts are extremely slow at 30 kb/s and premium account still slow 60% of the time. Extabit free account speed limits at 40 kb/s but premium account still doesn't go beyond 120 kb/s. Honestly, I would wait for things to stabilize and to see which of the up and coming providers will give the best overall service and download speeds for all users before making a decision...

I agree... the all offer a pretty sub standard service at the moment. Id advise to hang fire until things stabilize

Filefactory is great.

Megashare has excellent speeds for free users in the US.

It'd be nice if people used flameupload.com, which uploads to multiple file hosting sites (including Megashare, Uploadedto, Depositfiles, Filefactory etc.).

share-online.biz is pretty popular in Germany. I can download constantly at 4.5 Megabyte/s and the uploaders get paid. Never had a problem with it. :)

Yes, for a premium user.

For free user it's a joke.

Finally it does not really care because all posts here are mirrored elsewhere immediately (you know where...) ;)

If free User is too slow, then buy a Premium Account! There is no Hoster without Captcha and most of the Stuff is split in several parts and often too big! UL has limit 30gb? wtf! Per Day, week? Never use anything with limit, it becomes useless..

And please choose a Hoster, where one can pay with PAYSAFECARD

Hi SAiNT :D!

Sorry about not making a suggestion. At the moment, I'm still testing out all the different services to see which ones yield a good DL speed for free users but also allow posters to earn an income. The ones that offer the most consistent speeds of 140 kb/s and above with no time limits such as mediafire/jumbofiles/zshare do not seem to offer a financial incentive (unless people post using adfly, linkbucks, or some other url shortening services that pays for clicks). Filefactory is highly unstable and many times cannot connect to the file or stops in midway. Fileserve while having a good speed, is highly questionable in terms of service and reliability. Rapidshare has slowed to a crawling 30 kb/s for all free users. Rapidgator is also unreliable. Free users without accounts get 30-40 kb/s. People with free accounts get between 40-100 kb/s and occasionally 140-150 kb/s. Premium accounts usually get max speed but there are many times when you end up in the 100-120 kb/s just like the free account speeds on a good day. Netload.in depends on the time of day and service is somewhat unreliable and sketchy at best with slow 5-20 kb/s speeds for free users. Wupload/uploadstation used to have great speed but I also don't think they have incentive based services.

At the moment, I still cannot suggest a solid alternative that is suitable for all users including free users. Usage of mirrorcreator alongside some sort of paid link shortening revenue service might help for those without a premium acct. but the poster may earn less (depending on the payment for download they receive from filehosting services).

Anyway, here's wikipedia's listing of all filehosting services still in operation with some information for comparison. Hope this helps you in some way :D!
Best regards!

ABOUT MEDIAFIRE

Uploaders cannot make commissions on uploads using this site. It is great for personal use but not for this sort of filesharing

It really just comes down to one's location. Can't really say much. Some have good speed, whilst for others elsewhere have shit;many are accessible for some,& not for others;& ALL may have an undefined & unpredictable tendency to get links on,taken down. =$ But out of many on lists here, well:fileserve, wupload, uploading,& oron, for me have had the best speeds.

Mediafire? Well it's great, but most uploaders are mainly revenue seekers-which isn't bad itself nor am I condemning,as no one is forced to contribute a thing, regardless of where or on what incentives,& thus whatever gets up is appreciated. But I seriously doubt that this host will ever be taken seriously as an option.
Live 2 build a legit, lustrous,& legendary legacy.Much else is meaningless.

no one should be expecting to make any commission from uploading If that is why you do it then you need to find a different line of business man

Read The groups Disclaimers man no group does this for you or anyone else to turn a commission or profit

Mediafire. I don't understand why no one uses this service.

(Then, all other free accounts w/ MIPONY app.)

And, of course....... torrents

.....these are all common sense solutions for someone with no money and/or little time for any recording guru etc...

This is easy..... FILESERVE most definetly is the best ..... the rest is history... Maybe deposit but Fileserve is no.1 for sure and should be our first choice

Uploaded.to doesnt work in the United States.... I know fileserve is not loyal but their speed is unbeatable.. Fileserve Fileserve

I have been using Filefactory for a couple years now. Yeah, they do have some upload issues but that is not personal. As a prem user, I get it too. They will get it worked out. They are in the Netherlands and sent out a message to their customers that they are not discontinuing sharing, right when the heat was on. I have respect for them sticking by their paying customers.

Mediafire does ok. It was sad to see Filesonic throw everything in the back of their pickup truck...burn rubber and leave town. They were excellent.

my 2 cents

Fucking vultures, making money from warez.
If i make money from something then i buy it.

I thought you wanted to share stuff. But if you just want to make money then i don't see the point in appreciate or saying thanks.

@anton
I partly agree with you, but it's their right (within AudioZ rules) to do so.

This isn't sharing of course, but if it's all there is (and it is not), and if I need it (I often don't, or it's not that good), I'll take it, even though I'll never buy a premium account or aggregator (zevera, etc) account.

I respect AudioZ for what it is: a commerce of links, rather than file sharing.

If you expect more than that, you'll just get bitter; there are other places where file sharing occur, I suggest you look for them.

Just remember: have fun, and go where you can keep smiling.
