members frequently ask me "where should I buy premium account?";
So I decided to start a poll with the most popular file sharing services.

Let's choose one we like the most and make it part of our rules to always post a mirror on that file storage.

P.S. Please don't forget that i cannot force uploaders to upload stuff on services where they won't make their penny (RS).
I neither support it, nor condemn; but I do understand that this is how things work for some people.

P.S.2. I need to know what's the situation in the states? which of these file sharing services don't work there?

dude, 90%+ of the file hosts dont work in the USA now.
Get an account with a debrid service like Zevera, it bypasses all that.
Then you can dl from any service you want from one account.
fuck the dumb shit, adapt, or get left behind.

Yeah, I ask that it not be uploaded.to, since it simply doesn't work in the U.S. FilePost seems pretty good, as does Turbobit. I really like this idea of having one site for everything to be uploaded to - I'll finally be able to get one premium account for everything I want to download!

My opinion: I believe it's not good to choose just 1 file host.
What if it gets closed after a while??? damn
It's fairly better to choose more and trusted ones!

why MEDIAFIRE is not even considered?

MediaFire and FileServe are the very best in terms of speed for FREE user downloads...

... But they are not very good for people who upload to make money (after all, they do spend some time and money for long lasting links).

After the fall of MU (who was excellent for free downloaders), this has become the norm now almost everywhere : uploaders avoid MF & FS (no money to make with these), and downloaders must get premiums to avoid ridiculously low speeds, or go back to (potentially unsecure) torrents.

In the states, Deposit Files works great for me.
I'm also curious to know what others in the states use.

Fileserve had my vote but I m against this. Which is the best filehoster changes over time like a spinable tray at a chinese restaurant.

People will have premium accounts and the longer they buy into (say 1 yr, 2 yrs) they ll be inflexible to react to a dynamicaly changing issue.

I was premium on lot of stuff but Uploaded is cool since Filesonic died !

I can't really trust Fileserve anymore lol I feel like they gonna close one day or another...

hello... HELLO DERP DERPS... get a single account with a debrid (multihoster) service like Zevera, etc and you wont have to worry about any of this stupid shit, much less this post! DAMN!

THIS HAS ALREADY BEEN DISCUSSED BEFORE!!!

Check out AudioTigers post(s) in this thread here -> CLICK HERE!

The density of your heads makes me question if you should even be allowed to touch a computer. There is no issue with any hosting service, neither with country IP range bans, etc, because you don't have to purchase multiple accounts with any of them Or use them.. PERIOD! This is because you only need one single account with a multihoster service and you are fkking good to go! Its that simple. I have Zevera now - thats it!

Drably – Maybe Zevera is good for you but please stop now insisting too much on it. People have their own tastes and Heads [LoL!].

BTW: As it seems the Zevera application is only for PC, not for MAC.

I vote for bitshare and netload. Both can use download manager.

Fileserve (many of the "dead" links from the past posts are still up in fileserve), Filepost, Mediafire.

Zevera application is only for PC, not for MAC.

I dont use their application. I use IDM (Internet Download Manager). You can use any download manager with their service. Im sure there is something for OSX that will work :)

but there are services other than zevera too, it is just what i use, which is why i mentioned to reference AudioTigers post, as he provides an extensive list of these types of services.

SAiNT, you should know this site is for international users but not only for states residents. As an administrator, you have to take your responsibility to care about all members visited around the globe, it's hard but you have to.

You know, many hosts blocked user from here (Hong Kong) like fileserve, uploaded.to, uploadstation...The fastest and available host here is wupload only, it is set up with the same provider of filesonic so I think it is the most common way for most users, and the most important point is, wupload is the only host I can buy premium account easily. Please highly consider it! sad

BTW, mediafire and bitshare are highly recommended for Asia users, Thanks in advance.

I really appreciate for your new feed post because I always found new posts and the day are 2-3 days ago However, I visit this site every day but I cannot see them so I will never miss them from now, Thanks!

The Direct Download world is not gonna be stable for a while even with a bit of silence now after the MU fallout. So, the emphasis on ONE primary host doesn't quite sit well with my point of view. What's gonna happen is, we choose a main host and all the files will be hosted there and the obvious will eventually happens: shut down. Keeping the files spread out with as many hosts possible is the way to go. Honestly, the emphasis should be for Audioz members to get multihosts services. I have Alldebrid, ask me what I can't download and I'll tell you that there's nothing that I can't download.

BTW, the Audio Sex feed on top was very helpful.

According to Bild Rapidshare has to filter all the uploads from now on, due to a verdict of the court of law in Germany. So no more Rapidshare!

Saint! Please include Fileserve. Ventus is right, their speed is pretty decent! Bitshare and Oron are pretty good too (at least for me).

i've already explained why i can't add those servers sad

dacalion, thanks for the feedback wink

fileshare are con-artists & refuse me free downloads on a regular basis. same with uploaded.
I'd rather give my money to sites who have an ethical and fair policy. depositfiles, hotfile (I know there's no chance from previous requests on this site) and filesonic have always been good for me.

I think it's really important that we all have a consistent go-to site though, GOOD CALL! :-)

Speeds for me with JDownloader:

Uploaded.to - often 50kb/s, sometimes (weekdays at lunch) up to 500kb/s
DepositFiles - in the evening 5-15kb/s, at lunch 50-150kb/s
Extabit - mostly not working
Turbobit - 50kb/s
Letitbit - not working
Fiberupload (Bulletupload)- 50kb/s
Shareflare - not working
Uploaded.com - 40-80kb/s

I used uploaded.to to get 45 gigs of ominsphere but I had to proxy in to get it so best to use a download manager just in case you lose connection and need to resume. they block usa and I think many more will also as the feds are ging after everyone and its scaring the hosts
