No More Negative Rating in Comments screenshot
Quick update: It's been on my mind for a long time, but now it just seems necessary - I had to disable negative rating in comments, because it caused too much problems, and most of you know what i mean.

Practice shows that there is not much use for it anyway - if a comment violates our rules, it shouldn't be downvoted - it should be reported.

So no more negativity in comments

I'm playing though... I mean, I support anything you do SAINT... cuz without you, we'd have NOTHING!!!.. so... and it's all in the spirit of us getting along better... so I can't knock an initiative like that... otherwise I would be pure evil... I try to pretend I am not.

Honestly, I had soo much fun playing that game sometimes :D.. the down-vote game.

Usually every week there's an Integral post that warrants it... but, what the heck will we do now?...

LOL Why not just write the comments for people as well. I like what you wrote though. Should of just said, " Had to get rid of freedom of thought, it was becoming to much of a hassle." LOLOLOL I love all the ethical stuff that you read on sites that are illegal and pass stolen stuff for free. Honestly, it is truly friggin priceless. Oftentimes I got negative ratings by pointing out important and rational information regarding Kontakt releases. People were probably too hyped for a product they automatically dislike all critical commenters (pretty much what's happening on our sister forum in OS discussions).
I tend to word my criticism gently, but truthfully and still got slapped many times.
This tend to discourage people from posting.

Unfortunately too many members used the vote button but didn't explain their view. Sometimes it's probably because it would not be defensible.
So now , without the negative vote, they will have to explain what they think with words and so they'll be exposed to answer.

If that were the case then the negative rating would have been removed on posts, and even if it were to be removed on posts it would still have nothing to do with what you suggest, the negative rating has been removed on comments only.

Comparing AudioZ to an online shop is completely wrong.
Do you pay something when you're here? NO
Do you pay to download? NO
So it has nothing to do with an online shop.

The truth is that the downvote had to be dismissed because of a little group of members who where misusing it, and it was not complying with it's original function that is, is the content of the post good or bad.
It was used as to express personal opinion about particular posters instead.
Which is misleading for a member who only want to download useful things that work, and don't mind about what other think personally about the uploader as an individual.

In my opinion It’s a big mistake: in Amazon, in Ebay, all online shops have their rating with the 5 stars method, buyers can vote their service. All this is just business: Audioz is only an online shop


AudioZ for sure is NOT an online shop!
It's mainly a download-site. There's no SERVICE guaranteed @ all here, so the rating system is/was an unnecessary gimmick. That's one of the downsides of download sites: folks often think that they deserve the right to have a *customer service* [for free]. Of course the releasers make money with the downloads through commercial file hosting sites. But the rating system has nothing to do with all this.

Just seeing this for the first time today. Glad to see the suggestion helped, disappointed with other developments here that lead me to not drop by much any more, but an improvement is an improvement.
