This is a topic that is NEVER talked about!

Female Musicians: We all have periods, and it can affect our moods, our energy, and our musical performance.

One month, you might be feeling ok. Another month, you might feel exhausted, dehydrated, frustrated.

I want to start a conversation where we support each other with practical advice and tips.

Please share your advice and tips with us all so we can work our way through this together.

I'd love to hear what it is like for you when you HAVE to perform when you are not feeling your best.

Do you have any habits that help you cope? Please share them!

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail..

Pro Tip: If it's possible, use birth control for a consistent cycle schedule and plan tour/record dates around this.

Just kidding I made this up, the closest I've come to this issue was when i missed my mc battle stage time because I had an e-dookie and the venue didn't have stalls. ...my advisors tell me it's not the same though.

Nothing but love and respect for the ladies

What's next? We stop making tired jokes at the expense of other human beings?

*Cues violins for mr sensitive*

Actually, Pal, the joke was at the 'expense' of the authors/publishers of this book who think it's EVEN NEEDED to single out a sex/sexuality/race/whatever to specifically target 'audio advice' to. If you don't get that maybe go take a sense of humor course. It's crap like this book that actually makes matters worse by making 'special needs' conditions for women as apposed to men. A general audio book for both men and women (and trans/gays/non gender specific) is the best solution. Imagine a book "Mixing for white males"..... I bet if I'd said that you'd have had no issues. :/ GTFO

The joke was *not* directed at 'transexuals' you un-nuanced SJW. How do you know I'm not a trans? The "joke" would still be valid/amusing so long as you don't let your virtue signalling get in the way of that.
