Academy FM Ultimate Guide To Writing Drums in FL Studio TUTORiAL screenshot
P2P | 17 March 2018 | 99 MB
There are a variety of ways that FL Studio allows you to write drums. You can use a drum machine and write within the piano roll, one shot samples and write within the step sequencer, or even work with audio directly in the playlist..

In this tutorial, Nasko will focus on the most common, basic way that FL Studio users can write their drums: The Step Sequencer. He will start by making a basic house beat to showcase the features of the sequencer. Then he will make a half-step Dubstep beat using the playlist and sequencer together.

Nasko will even show you how to shape and mold individual samples using the sampler window before they go into the sequencer.

I usually like the academy.fm tutorials, seeing as how I almost always learn something, but, as it mentions in the blurb, the step sequencer is the most basic way to write in drums. I honestly don't remember the last time I used the step sequencer due to its very rigid and quantized constraints (yes, even with the swing function.) I think that people would benefit more from knowing ways to really make the most of one of FL's best features, which is the piano roll, as opposed to the much more rudimentary and self-explanatory, step sequencer.
Anyway, just my two cents.
Thanks for the upload, Sunny. :)

For me the step sequencer is a basic tool inwich I can draw and program complex an sincopated drums easily, like a scketch board, later can be edited in the midi section, FL Studio born like a humble drum sequencer, da ol Fruity Loops, and keeps their roots managing drums natively like no other daw.
