If anyone (like me) has spent hours looking for the default plugins that don't install with the package, they are in the Avid Effects subfolder below the ISSETUPPREREQUISITES subfolder.

I actually found them after I worked out a way of downloading them from Avid with Pro tools first and then registering PT first with ilok license manager so that those defualt plugins are legit

Best, most valuable and most holy release this site has ever seen. And we've had some great releases but this takes the cake.

Also a user of this since (almost) release, and after an initial tweaking and some head scratching on my system, it's been rock solid for 3+ years night and day and made my music/mixes better than my previous DAW (Studio One).

hi every one , I downloaded this version of pro tools from another site before I find it here. actually its from audioutopia , but it crash for finding audio interface and it also doesnt start video engine . my sound card is Focusrite 2i4 and it is working properly in Cubase
i dont know whats the problem.
i have used it on two pc and both have the same problem.

Hi I have a problem with pro tools and I do not know how to solve it. I installed the program, but when I start it, it gives me an error and closes immediately. The error that gives me this is: Could not complete your request because Integer error occurred (divide by zero). Can you give me a hand, because I can not solve it?

I have not as yet been able to use this. Just crashes on startup.

most audioutopia plugins will work if you choose aax version during install. i think 12.3 is better. the new brainworx bundle works flawless on 12.3

The new brainworx also works flawlessly on THIS relase (12.5) which I've been using daily for years. Once you've tweaked it and got it set up (this release) it's been solid. Disable 2 cores if cpu errors (known issue) still fast af on modern PC!

Also I couldn't be with out the additions in 12.5+ (track freeze etc).

What kind of problems are you having?

I didn't have a problem with this Soft particularly, I was reinstalling everything after a clean install of 2004 version and when I installed one of the AIR libraries, and the PACE driver or something installation messed up something in the OS, got a blue screen loop about a corrupt system file, had to start from scratch again.

In the last month i had a lot of problem with different sample rate projects. switching from a 96Khz to 48 or else , the system freeze or comes up the error: "pro tools could not initialize the XXX audio driver....." but the panel control of my audio interface said it's correct!

Is the 12.3 version better than 12.5? 12.5 works fine for me, no crashes, no errors, and video works yet I can't wrap around the trends that 12.3 is more stable and that the 12.5 I am using maybe unnoticeably slow. Want to try 12.3 out to see. Or I shouldn't bother since 12.5 wotks?

I was getting crashes on open, in windows 10, and i managed to fix them:
- Deleted all waveshell-aax folders installed by waves bundle
- Installed asio4all driver

It's fully functional now. Thanks Audio Utopia. Good luck to others.

Hello,
I have installed this version and i have a problem, protools close itself after 1-2 minutes openned, no error message, just close... It's working perfectly before it decides to close. I have unistalled reinstall many times, with/without internet, things remains the same.
I'm on windows 11.

Unfortunately not one of all the versions offered here have ever worked for me. Windows 11 Pro.
All I get when installing is ' Installer is not responding'. Thing is many have said everything is working just fine but I have yet to find a clear and concise description to overcome installation issues and actually get it running.
Does anyone who have a way to REALLY get it up and running, which version does work.
I'd be most grateful.
