can i finally use waves without aax? there was plenty of vsts that i could not get to work with transvst or vst to rtas wit pt12 last release. can anybody lemme know b4 i uninstall 10 and install 12 for the 3rd time?

I agree these optimizations are general, it work well without that i'm on win7 pro sp1 x64, i have intalled without uninstall PT12.3, maybe i'm lucky with my setup, my soundcard is a scarlett 18i20, for the moment no errors.

Error message when to play video on Pro Tools HD 12.5.0.395 .. any ideas guys?

I have Quicktime installed and I can play video on Ableton Live x64!
OS Windows 8.1 64 Bits

Ps: You know how to install Avid virtual instruments in Pro Tools 12? "instruments like Mini Grand, etc"
Are installed by default, I have to find on installation folder, or I have to download them, or I can't install Pro Tools 12?

For Protools 11 and Higher you can download "Air Creative collection'.
For protools 10 Avid virtual instruments 10. After you download, install it normally like other softwares. Instruments installation is better before protools installation. For me it works both before and after installing Protools.

By the way Avid virtual instruments 10 can also work in Pro tools 11 and higher versions. Air creative collection is an upgraded form and doesn't work in protools 10 and lower.

I've loaded .M4V and .AVI files and video is working. No luck with .MOV
Try using Quicktime to convert your files to AVI or .M4V

The same error. M4V. MKV. MP4. AVI. MOV. All videos and video engine gives me this error:
"Message: Cannot start playback. The network clock is not locked. Please try again."


Installed in a clean system with quicktime in every posible combination. No success.

i didn t uninstall previous version and i didn t even rebbot,and works perfectly

Install and start ok, run some time with some audio tracks and instrument ok, but with heavy projects have a full of faults and crashes, access violation and other big bugs, like other ilok cracked plug-ins.

I tested about four hours with old projects and creating new big projects and the crashes appear rapidly.

Clean install of Windows 8.1 x64 and 10 x64 32 Gb of Ram, Intel i7.

Portable version have the same bugs.

I install Studio One 3 for the same test and all work 100% fine.

Uninstall all pro tools from audioutopia and install Pro tools First to test and all work 100% fine.

Reinstall this release, all work ok with some tracks and again with the heavy projects (more than 24 audio tracks with EQ, Dynamics and others) a violent access violation appear in a 30 seconds of run.

For me, are a really unstable release.

I was having some issues too with heavy loaded sessions, specially with Jbridge pluggins the session crashes. After struggling I tried Trasher 10 V5 for PT, reset permissions and now is working fine. I'll continue testing.
