Had the same problem.

Didn't get a black screen/wait for a few minutes, but went straight to the registration window and gave me the "Unable to access..." message.

However, I hade forgotten to rename the shortcut! It was still named "STEAM - Shortcut", and as soon as I renamed it to only "STEAM" (still a shortcut), It now gives me a black window and I'm now waiting for it to stop being black. So think I'm on the right path!

Thank you soooo much The Pirate ! This is a real timesaver ! I Sorry for my ingnorance, but i've installed Omnispre before without problems, but never installed Bob Moog,
Keyscape, Stylus RMX and so on. I know they should integrate seemlesly with Omnisphere, but do they need a seperate Keygen for registration or does it also works with the R2R 2048 Keygen ? And are those actually seperate programs ? Thanks again !

There is no STEAM nor Omnisphere folder. Just these files in the Spectrasonics folder:

1. Plug-ins with sub-folders 64bit\Omnisphere.dll
2. AUDIO16.DAT
3. Omnisphere.exe
4. STEAM- shotcut created in Step 3

How to proceed? Thanks in advance for any help.

Problem SOLVED!
After I created the correct path to folders, the error message disappeared.
At step 6 F registration window disappeared a couple of times before I could click "Continue".
Omnisphere now up and running

Thanks to all envolved ! Especially to Pirate ! I am always dealing with missing .zmaps from core library. Hopefully it is now history. MAybe some Mac head can write a nice tutorial about installing this on OSX. I dont want it to mess up this thime

This is an Omnisphere ONLY release. You can run Keyscape and Trilian from inside Omnisphere but they are different VSTs. Send me a PM if you need help with the others.

That is exactly what I suggested. I have read so many different instructions for it that decided against writing any and contribute to the current confusion and speculation with Spectrasonics and MAC.

Thanks Pirate, best release this year until now. I have the old version but as others i didnt update it yet but with your release thing are very easy.
(its only a shame that the torrent download speeds are xtremely slow with this torrent as slow as 2b/s come on it takes forever to download this with that kind of almost zero transfer speeds, and no i dont need another paid for account have enough bills already, maybe somebody makes this available with a NZB file, that way it takes couple of hours at max to get this large file. the torrent seems not to work for me 77.5% since yesterday evening and thats way too slow energy cost money too you know and its not good to let a computer run this long constantly, if this does not speeds up soon i pull the plug and give this one up)

For Mac users… here are instruction…
On Mac :

STEP 1.
Unzip STEAM parts 1-15 and extract the ISO wherever you like.

STEP 2.
Mount the ISO image with Disk Utility (usually the default application for this) and drag the Spectrasonics folder inside the ISO to wherever you want it to live. This can be an external drive but the default location is ~/Library/Application Support/

STEP 3.
Create an alias to the Spectrasonics Folder which should be placed at the location in STEP 2. if you have not placed the actual Spectrasonics folder there.

STEP 4.
There is no step 4 on Mac ;-)

STEP 5.
Unzip Step 5 archive and double-click the .pkg installer file. You will need an admin password to install, as usual. DO NOT start Omnisphere yet.

STEP 6(a).
Unzip Step 6 archive and run on a PC (real or virtual) or keygen Runner works just fine. PATCH the all the Omnisphere plug-ins you want to use (VST, AU etc.) in Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components (VST etc.). You may find it simpler to drag these plug-ins to the desktop and patch them there and then put them back. To be clear, "patch" means click the "Patch" button in the keygen. A dialog will open requiring you to point to the plugin you want to patch. A PC sees the Mac plugin as just another folder. What you need to patch is inside the plug-in folder/Contents/MacOS/Omnisphere. To see this on the Mac, you would have to right-click the plugin and "Show package contents".
If you patched the plug-ins on your desktop or on a PC, put them back in their respective folders in Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/.

STEP 6(b).
Run Omnisphere in the Applications folder. It may take a while to load the first time. Do not panic. Be patient, after a while the Omnisphere registration window will open and provide you with a Challenge Code.


STEP 6(c).
Copy and paste the Challenge Code into the Key Generator's Challenge Code window.

STEP 6(d).
Press the GENERATE button and copy the generated Response Code. You can right-click and choose "Copy" if you're doing this in Keygen runner on the Mac. It will copy to the Mac clipboard.


STEP 6(e).
Paste the copied Response Code into the Omnisphere's Response Code Line by pressing the Paste tab. After this operation the key generator is no longer is needed.

STEP 6(f).
Press the Continue tab and when the next window appears, quit the Omnisphere application.

STEP 7.
Unzip Step 7 archive and run the Omnisphere 2 Data Updater.pkg (Soundsource update) in the Mac folder. Your admin password will be required.

STEP 8.
Unzip Step 8 archive and run the Omnisphere Data Updater.pkg (Patch library update) in the Mac folder. Your admin password will be required.

STEP 9.
Unzip Step 9 archive and run Bob Moog Tribute Patch Library.pkg (Bob.Moog.Tribute.Patch.Library.Update) in the Mac folder. Your admin password will be required.

STEP 10.
Run Omnisphere. You should be good to go…

N.B. Software updates kill the crack, so yo have to go through step 6 again after an update.

The app is patched but it cant locate the library folder. Yes: I copied the steam alias into the folder

For example, if I open the RAR labeled Part 1: Part 1 (out of 7), it contains five 7z zip folders. If I unzip the first one of those, I get another RAR. That appears to contains the iso (although I haven't been able to open that rar after downloading everything a second time). Everything is there though. Triple-checked and the size is right.

But what do I and don't I need to unpack? Do I only need to unpack "Part1: Part 1" until I get to the iso? Or do I need to unpack the first part of every section (Part One: Part 1, Part Two: Part 1, etc). And do I then need to unpack the first 7z that's in each one those, along with the first RAR folder inside of those? Lol. Forgive me, but it's very confusing without knowing the answer.

Hey

So when I try and use The Unarchiver on Part 15 it says it can't extract the .iso because "Error on decrunching". I just press continue and try to open it anyway and it gives me an .iso. Then I go to mount the .iso and it says "The followings disk images could not be opened" and under reasons it says "Image not recognised". I've done step 1 I just can't seem to get past step 2. Any help appreciated.

Update: So I've tried Keka and Stuffit Expander and had varied results.

Keka managed to unzip the part15.7z and turned it into a .rar file but none of Keka, Stuffit or The Unarchiver can open the part15.rar.

Keka: Error code 10 using "unrar"
No files matching the mask

Stuffit: Expansion Failed, The structure of the archive is damaged

The Unarchiver: Could not extract .iso from the .rar. Archive: error on decrunching.

I have deleted and redownloaded part15 more than once. I'm on a MacBook Pro mid 2012 with High Sierra and have had no problem extracting any of the other parts, only part 15. I also pay for uploaded.

Completely stuck here!

Thanx a lot FredBloggs for your Mac Explanation.
I have problems tho extracting the files , the download seems complete 67,12 gigas, I've tried with Keka, UnRarX even with replacing the .7z to .rar but I keep getting error messages and c'ant extract. Sitting next to a tresor but I don't seem to have the key....

I am reaching a problem on my end. Once I get to Step 6(b) running Omnisphere in Applications, it says 'STEAM folder does not have write permission', and even if I change the permissions of the folder to read and write it still comes up.

Also with Steps 6 and 7 when trying to install I get this message 'Failed to open output file."
