Didnt get scanned on Ableton Live 9.6 windows 10
Works well on Reaper 5.15 Windows 10

Why that 9mb software does everything that GBs of softwares cant.

I think Reaper is not best DAW. It is best software.

Ok, I did it!!!

To everyone having some issues loading Altiverb in Studio One 3.1 on Win10 x64, please do the following:

- From the File Explorer, locate one of your other plugins: Choose any DLL file of a working plugin (I chose Omnisphere 2)
- Right click on the DLL file and select Properties
- Select the Security tab
- Do the same with the Altiverb DLL
- Now all you need to do is compare files permissions/attributes between both plugins and make sure that they are identical (meaning that Altiverb's permissions matches the permissions of your working plugin).

In my case, using Win8 compatibility mode and starting S1 as Admin wasn't enough: I had to perform this permission match to be able to detect the plugin. Oh yeah.

Finally, no need to keep on running S1 as Administrator.

I never used FL therefore I will not be able to help unfortunately.

My best guess is that the cracked DLL wasn't pasted in the right folder: For example FL might be looking in a certain place for the x64 plugins and maybe you copied the cracked DLL in a different place?

It's perfectly working here on Live 9.6 64bits or Cubase 5 32bits, but not even scanned on S1 3.11 64. I'm under Win 7. I didn't move the dll after installation or anything. Never happened before with other plugins.

Did you try what I suggested previously (comparing the file permissions with a working plugins and making the relevant corrections on the Altiverb DLL file)?

Ok, i found it!
There were some troubles with Altiverb 6, it was x64 bridged within the same folder. I had to move the files Vstsettings.settings & VstBlacklist.settings from "[user]/Appdata/Roaming/PreSonus/Studio One 3/x64", after that it was scanned correctly...
Hope i can still use Altiverb 6 for backward compatibility. The strange thing is that every other DAWs had no problems with that. I still got the A6 thumbnails attached to A7.
Anyway, hope this will helpful for other. Thx for your patience mprsanter

The crack was crashing live until I enabled Windows 8 compatibility mode, now working great.

Working for me in S1 but not in Cubase 8.5.
Altough I found a workaround that makes Altiverb 7 also possible for
Cubase 8.5 Win 7 x64:

You have to jBridge the cracked 64bit Altiverb 7.dll down to 32bit and move it into yours 32bit-plugin folder. Works! You have to be aware that this overrides the old Altiverb 6 plugin though.

Guys i need help here . Im running Ableton 9.6 suite on Win 10 64 Pro . I installed Altiverb following the instructions but ... When Ableton loads for the first time i can see scaning it but after that when i go to my vsts to choose it i cant find it . Itried everything and also in order to see if Ableton will find it i changed the cracked ones with the originals and again the same thing happened . There is no way to run it on Ableton . I tried also the win 8 compatibility but nothing . Anyone to give me his /her lights ? ( When i am installing it i am changing the path of the vsts to mine vst folder ... ) .

i had the very same problem
what you have to do is go into were you installed ableton right click the ableton icon and run as administrator
now right click the ableton icon and run in compatibility mode windows 8
and finally copy and paste the crack into were you installed altiverb 7
thats how i got it to work good luck

Thanks for sharing! Sadly i can't get it to work in Pro Tools 10 via FXpansion VST to RTAS. When I'm trying to insert Altiverb in a "normal" session, I get a prompt saying "plugin failed to load". When I'm starting a small session (e.g. only two tracks for editing) it works like a charm. Can someone please help me? Is wrapping this release even possible?

Thanks for sharing! I can't get it to work in my system. Here Win 7 SP1 x64, tried both Nuendo 4 and Wavelab 6. I followed all instructions, it appears available as a plugin in Nuendo 4 but when you insert it - it doesn't! And nothing happens! In Wavelab 6 it freezes everything.
Anyone have any idea? This DAW is working fine with many other releases, including Altiverb 6.

I tried solution proposed by Yrolako using jBridge and that is the only way I could get it to work - jBridge the x64 [k] VST plugin, so it worked in Nuendo 4 (Win 7 SP1 x64). I no way I could get the x32 [k] VST to work!... Again thanks for the good work.

Thanks for the upload! Unfortunately I'm having trouble getting this to show up in my plugins on Ableton Live 9.5 64bit Win10. I nuked my old install of Alt and removed the bridged version as well but 7 still won't show up in my plugins, even tried compatibility modes and running as admin to no avail. If anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated.

Found the solution, issue occurs if using a custom plugin folder. If you are running into the same problem I was go into your Ableton Live preferences and turn OFF "Use VST Plug-In Custom Folder" and then turn it back ON to force Live to repopulate the plugin folder, this helps if "Rescan" does not work. Altiverb 7 should now pop up.
